Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը և Բարաք Օբաման կայացած հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ քննարկել են Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ ստեղված իրադության կարգավորման՝ Վիեննայում ավարտված բանակցությունների արդյունքները: Այս մասին հաղորդել է Կրեմլի մամուլի ծառայությունը: Պետությունների ղեկավարները նշվել են, որ այդ հարցի քաղաքական-դիվանագիտական լուծման որոնման բազմամյա ջանքերի հաջողությունը հնարավոր է դարձել «վեցյակի» երկրների, Իրանի, ինչեպս նաև Եվրամիության կառուցողական փոխգործակցության շնորհիվ: Այս մասին հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:

Հեռախոսազրույցում ընդգծվել է, որ Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ համապարփակ համաձայնությունը համապատասխանում է ամբողջ միջազգային հանրակցության շահերին, նպաստում է միջուկային չտարածման ռեժիմի ամրապնդմանը, Մերձավոր Արևելքի տարածաշրջանում լարվածության նվազմանը: Այս առնչությամբ ընդգծված է ռուս-ամերիկյան երկխոսության դերն աշխարհում անվտանգության և կայունության ապահովման բնագավառում:

«Արտահայտվել է համատեղ աշխատանքի շարունակման փոխադարձ տրամադրվածությունն` ի շահ Վիեննայի համաձայնությունների անխախտ իրագործման, ինչպես նաև որոշ հրատապ միջազգային թեմաների վերաբերյալ, ներառյալ միջազգային ահաբեկչության հակազդումը»,- նշված է Ռուսաստանի պետության ղեկավարի մամուլի ծառայության հաղորդագրության մեջ:

Բացի այդ, երկու երկրների առաջնորդները շնորհավորանքններ են փոխանակել ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների օրացույցի նշանակալից տարեթվի` «Սոյուզ-Ապոլոն» ուղեծրային թռիչքի իրականացման 40-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ:
