Ինչպիսի՞ ինֆորմացիա են քաղում մարդիկ դիմացինի հագուստից: Առաջինը մարդու նյութական կարգավիճակն է, ապահովվածության աստիճանը: Երկրորդն այն դերն է, որին հավակնում է տվյալ հագուստը կրողը: Իրենց հագուստով մարդիկ գիտակցաբար, իսկ ավելի հաճախ` անգիտակցորեն, ցույց են տալիս, թե ինչպիսին են ուզում ընկալվել շրջապատողների կողմից, ինչպիսի մարդու տպավորություն են ցանկանում թողնել: Եվ այսպես…

Հագուստի ավանդական ոճին են պատկանում համազգեստները և ազգային տարազները: Ավանդական հագուստ են հանդիսանում ոչ միայն ճապոնական կիմոնոները կամ ռուսական սարաֆանները, այլ նաև մարզահագուստ, ռոքերների դուրգամած կուրտկաները, ծրագրավորողների սվիտերներն ու ջինսերը: Ավանդական հագուստ նախընտրողներն այդպիսով ցանկանում են ցուցադրել որոշակի խմբին պատկանելու իրենց պահանջմունքը: Նրանք հանգիստ ու երջանիկ են այն դեպքում, երբ նրանց համարում են որոշակի խմբի, հանրության ներկայացուցիչ:

Օրիգինալ ոճի հագուստը ոչ թե ըստ հայտնի մոդելների կամ ձևացքների կարված հագուստն է, այլ սեփական մտահղացմամբ կարվածը: Այսպիսի հագուստը բացահայտում է մարդու նախաձեռնողությունը, ապրումներ ու ակտիվ հույզեր ունենալու, թարմ գրգիռներ ստանալու պահանջը:

Դասական ոճի հագուստը կարվում է խիստ կանոնների պահպանմամբ: Գույները սովորաբար մեղմ և հանգիստ են, ճչան չեն, ձևածքը սովորաբար լինում է պարզ: Դասական են հագնվում նրանք, ովքեր ցանկանում են ամրապնդել իրենց հեղինակությունը և հավակնում են ազդեցիկ դիրք ունենալ: Այս ոճը ցույց է տալիս նշանակալի լինելու թաքնված, բայց հետևողական ձգտումը և հավակնոտությունը:

Մոդայիկ ոճը աչքի է ընկնում փոփոխություններով ու նորամուծություններով: Նորաձևություններին հետևող մարդիկ պարտադիր չէ, որ օրիգինալ լինեն, սակայն նրանք բարեհաճորեն են վերաբերվում փոփոխություններին, ուրախանում են, իրենց երիտասարդ են զգում, ավանգարդիստ կամ ուզում են այդպիսին երևալ:

Միօրինակ հագուստը վկայում է, որ այն կրողն ընդունակ չէ հոգևոր ծախսումներ և ներդրումներ կատարել:

Հակադիր ոճը բազմազան հագուստն է, զգեստների ու դիմահարդարանքի մշտական փոփոխությունները: Այսօրինակ բազմազանություն նախընտրողներին բնորոշ է անհանգստությունն ու ինչ-որ բանի նվիրվելուն բավարար չափով պատրաստ չլինելը: Մարդը, որի զգեստապահարանը պայթում է հագուստների բազմազանությունից, ցանկանում է հետաքրքիր և օրիգինալ մարդու տպավորություն ստեղծել իր մասին, քանի որ վախենում է, որ շրջապատողները կնկատեն իր ներքին դատարկությունը:

Պահպանողական հագուստ նախընտրողներն ասես մերժում են վատնողականությունը, դրամը մսխելն ու էրոտիկան: Այդ է պատճառը, որ շատ բիզնեսմեններ արևմուտքում հաճախ ընտրում են այս ոճը: Դրանով նրանք ուզում են ցույց տալ, թե որքան դատող և հաշվենկատ մարդիկ են իրենք:
