Աշխատանքային այցով Բեռլինում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի  և Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահ Էդելգարդ Բուլմանի փետրվարի 26-ին կայացած հանդիպմանը կարևորել են երկուստեք քայլերը միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցության և շփումների ակտիվացմանւ ուղղությամբ։ Որպես միջոց նշվել է բար ձրաստիճան փոխայցերի, երկու երկրների խորհրդարաններում գործող պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբերի, ինչպես նաև տարբեր հանձնաժողովների մակարդակով փոխայցելությունների կազմակերպումը:

ԱԺ փոխնախագահն անդրադարձել է տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության ամրապնդմանը՝ նշելով, որ ԼՂ հակամարտությունը պետք է հանգուցալուծվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափով: Նա շեշտել է, որ Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրացմանն այլընտրանք չկա:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն անթույլատրելի է համարել արցախյան հիմնահարցին կրոնական երանգ հաղորդելու ադրբեջանական կողմի փորձերը: Էդելգարդ Բուլմանը համաձայնել է ԱԺ փոխնախագահի հետ և կարևորել ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորումը:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ Գերմանիայի խորհրդարանը առաջիկայում կընդունի Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ բանաձևի նախագիծը: Բունդեսթագի փոխնախագահն ընդգծել է, որ հայ ժողովրդի հետ կատարվածը ցեղասպանություն է, որը պետք է դատապարտվի: Էդելգարդ Բուլմանը հավեելել է, որ նախօրեին Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի նախագծի շուրջ քննարկումները դրական ազդակ էին Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման գործընթացում:

Հանդիպման ավարտին ԱԺ փոխնախագահը գերմանացի իր գործընկերոջը հրավիրել է պաշտոնական այց կատարելու Հայաստան:
