«Արթուր Հովհաննիսյանի՝ Քանաքեռցի Չուգունի հարևանները երեկ դժվարացան պատասխանել մեր հարցին, թե ինչը կարող էր լինել սպանության շարժառիթը։ Արթուր Հովհաննիսյանը ամուսնացած էր, ուներ 4 տարեկան որդի։ Նրա հարևանուհիներից մեկը երեկ մեզ հետ զրույցում հերքեց մամուլում շրջանառվող այն տեղեկատվությունը, թե Հովհաննիսյանը սպանվել է կնոջ ու երեխայի աչքի առաջ։ «Իրենք հենց առաջին հարկում են ապրում։ Արթուրի կինը կրակոցների ձայնը լսելուց հետո վազել է դուրս, բայց նույնիսկ չեն թողել, որպեսզի մոտենա ամուսուն, որ էդ վիճակում չտեսնի։
Բոլորն այդ ձայներից դուրս վազեցին, ծնողները դուրս եկան, տեսան՝ որդին արյունաշաղախ պառկած է։ Ինչ ասեմ՝ սադիստ են եղել։ Նա շատ ուժեղ մարդ էր, շատերին էր օգնում, սիրող ամուսին էր, լավ եղբայր։ Միայն կարծում եմ, որ անողը վարձու մարդասպան է եղել, շատ պրոֆեսիոնալ է գործել ու փախել։ Քննիչն ասում է, այսօր մինչև իրիկուն սպանողին կբացահայտեն, սա որերոդ դարն է, որ չբացահայտեն, տեսնենք ինչ կանեն։ Սպանվածի կնոջ եղբոր աչքի առաջ է եղել դեպքը, նա հիմա շոկի մեջ է, չի հասկանում ինչ է կատարվել, սա իր վրա շատ վատ կանդրադառնա»,– պատմեց սպանվածի հարևանուհին»,–գրում է թերթը։
