Էներգետիկ անվտանգության ազգային հիմնադրամի գլխավոր տնօրեն Կոնստանտին Սիմոնովը կանխատեսում է, որ Հայաստանին մատակարարվող գազի գինը բանակցությունների արդյունքում կիջեցվի:Այս մասին նա հայտարարեց փետրվարի 25-ին կայացած կլոր-սեղան քննարկման ժամանակ: Նրա խոսքով` չնայած Ռուսաստանն արդեն շատ ցածր գներով է Հայաստանին գազ մատակարարում, բայց շուկայում նավթի գների անկումը կարող է գազի գնի իջեցման հեռանակար բացել Հայաստանի համար: «Համաշխարհային շուկայում գների անկումը հույս է առաջացնում, որ Հայաստանին մատակարարվող ռուսական գազի գինն էլ կիջեցվի` չնայած այն արդեն շատ ցածր է՝ համեմատած մեր այլ սպառողների: Ամեն դեպքում ես կանխատեսում եմ, որ գազի գնի իջեցման բանակցությունները կբերեն նրան, որ այն ավելի կէժանանա»,-ասաց Սիմոնովը:

Փորձագետը նաև նկատեց, որ հնգամյա դադարից հետո, կրկին Երևան գալով, հաճելիորեն զարմացել է` տեսնելով ծաղկուն քաղաք: Նա նշեց, որ Հայաստանի նման փոքր բնակչությամբ երկրի տնտեսության զարգացման հնարավորությունը մեծ շուկա մուտք գործելն է, որն էլ իրականացել է` Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությանն անդամակցելով:

2016-ի հունվարի վերջին ՀՀ էնեգետիկայի և բնական պաշարների նախարար ԵրվանդԶախարյանն, ամփոփելով 2015 թվականը, նշել է, որ ՀՀկառավարությունը գազի գնի սակագնի նվազման հարցով արդեն դիմել է ՌԴ կառավարությանը:
