Aysor.am-ը գրում է.

Թեև արդեն երկու տասնամյակ է՝ հայկական բանակն ու հայ զինվորն ունի իր տոնը` հունվարի 28-ը, բայց հայ կինը, մայրն ու քույրը չի մոռանում, որ փետրվարի 23-ը ևս տղամարդկանց տոնն է, հայրենիքի սահմանին բոլոր ժամանակներում կանգնած տղամարդկանց: Aysor.am-ը, շնոհավորելով տոնի կապակցությամբ, ավագ սերնդի ներկայացուցիչ կոմպոզիտոր, ջազմեն,  Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ժողովրդական արտիստ, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արվեստի վաստակավոր գործիչ Մարտին Վարդազարյանից հետաքրքրվեց ծառայողական տարիների մասին:

«Ճիշտն ասած՝ կարճատեսության պատճառով ինձ միանգամից համարեցին ոչ պիտանի ու ծառայության չտարան: Սակայն, հետագայում չափանիշները փոխվեցին և երբ 27 տարեկան էի, ինձ հրավիրում էին բանակ: Բայց այդ ժամանակ ծնվեց իմ երկրորդ զավակը՝ դուստրս: Այնպես որ, զինվորական կյանքն ինձ բաժին չհասավ»,-ափսոսանքով վերհիշեց մեր զրուցակիցը:

Սակայն արվեստի վաստակավոր գործիչը բանակի հետ կապը պահել ու պահում է մինչ այսօր. «Ամեն տարի Կոմպոզիտորների միությունն ունենում էր հանդիպումներ Հայաստանի, Խորհրդային Միության, արտասահմանի տարբեր քաղաքներում ծառայող տղաների հետ: Շատ հաճելի էր լսել, թե ամեն անգամ Գերմանիայում հրամանատարներն ինչպես էին ասում. «Отличные солдаты и хорошие ребята армяне. Спасибо вам»: Ամեն տեղ բարձր գնահատականի էին արժանանում մեր զինվորները: Բանակ հասկացողությունը անհրաժեշտություն է յուրաքանչյուր մարդու համար, հայ մարդու համար էլ՝ հայ բանակը: Անկախ նրանից, որ հայկական բանակի տոնը հունվարի 28-ին է, միևնույն է, փետրվարի 23-ին էլ պետք է շնորհակալություն հայտնենք բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր մեր հայրենիքը պաշտպանեցին իրենց ընձեռված ժամանակին: Խոնարհվում եմ բոլորի առջև ու ցավում, որ ինձ չհաջողվեց ծառայել»,-շեշտեց կոմպոզիտորը:

Ի դեպ, Մ. Վարդազարյանը իր ստեղծագործական կյանքում էլ չի մոռանում զինվորին. «Մի քանի երգ ունեմ՝ նվիրված մեր բանակին, պատերազմում զոհված զինվորներին: Կա երգ, որ վաղուց եմ գրել, բայց այդպես էլ ոչ-ոքին չեմ ներկայացրել: Պարտքս եմ համարում՝ շարունակել գրել ու մի քանի երգ ևս նվիրել այս թեմային, անկախ նրանից՝ դրանք կկատարվեն, թե ոչ: Դա իմ հոգու պահանջն է»:

«Բանակի թեմայի, արժանիքների ու անհրաժեշտության մասին կարելի է խոսել անվերջ: Իմ հորեղբայրները, շատ հարազատներ ևս զոհվեցին պատերազմի դաշտում:  Ուզում եմ խորին շնորհակալություն հայտնել և՛ սահմանին կանգնած մեր այսօրվա զինվորին, և՛ նրանց, ովքեր իրենց կյանքն են տվել ժամանակին, և՛ նրանց, ովքեր փառք ու պատվով վերադարձել, ապրել ու ապրում են մեր կողքին»,-եզրափակեց ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստը:
