Իրանը պատրաստ է աջակցել Հորմուզի նեղուցում անվտանգության վերականգնմանը, եթե ԱՄՆ-ն դադարեցնի ագրեսիվ գործողություններն ու միջամտությունը, որոնք նախատեսված են որպես պայմաններ Թեհրանի առաջարկած յոթ կետից բաղկացած ծրագրում։ Այդ մասին կիրակի Բաղդադում Իրաքի ԱԳ նախարար Ֆուադ Հուսեյնի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարել է Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Աբաս Արաղչին, հաղորդում է Tasnim-ը։

Կողմերը քննարկել են երկկողմ համագործակցությունը, իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում և խաղաղության ու անվտանգության վերականգնմանն ուղղված ջանքերը։ Արաղչին ժամանել էր Իրաքի մայրաքաղաք՝ մասնակցելու Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպության (ԻՀԿ) արտգործնախարարների խորհրդի 52-րդ նստաշրջանին։

Իրանի նախարարը նշել է, որ Հորմուզի նեղուցում անկայունությունն ու դրա տնտեսական հետևանքները տարածաշրջանի երկրների և ամբողջ աշխարհի համար ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի կողմից Իրանի դեմ ռազմական ագրեսիայի անմիջական հետևանքն են։

Արաղչին ընդգծել է, որ Թեհրանը մտադիր է պաշտպանել իր ազգային շահերն ու անվտանգությունը, սակայն միաժամանակ պատրաստ է օգտագործել դիվանագիտական միջոցներ՝ հետագա էսկալացիան կանխելու և տարաձայնությունները կարգավորելու համար։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև Արաբական թերակղզու իրավիճակն ու տարածաշրջանում հակամարտությունների դադարեցման հնարավորությունները։ Խոսելով Եմենի մասին՝ Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարը հայտարարել է, որ վերջին տասը տարիների փորձը ցույց է տվել, որ ճգնաժամը հնարավոր չէ լուծել ուժի և շրջափակման միջոցով։ Նրա համոզմամբ, կարգավորումը պետք է հիմնված լինի ՄԱԿ-ի կանոնադրության, ինչպես նաև երկրի ինքնիշխանության, տարածքային ամբողջականության և նրա բնակչության իրավունքների նկատմամբ հարգանքի վրա։

Արաղչին հավելել է, որ Իրանը պատրաստ է աջակցել երկխոսությանը Եմենի հակամարտության կողմերի միջև։

Բացի այդ, նախարարը կոչ է արել թույլ չտալ այն պնդումների տարածումը, թե Եմենի զինված ուժերը հարձակվել են Մեքքայի և Մեդինայի վրա։ Ըստ նրա, նման հայտարարությունները չեն բխում մուսուլմանական աշխարհի շահերից և կարող են խորացնել տարաձայնությունները Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպության ներսում։

Արաղչին նաև կոչ է արել մուսուլմանական երկրներին ամրապնդել երկխոսությունն ու համերաշխությունը՝ հատուկ ուշադրություն դարձնելով Պաղեստինի իրավիճակին և Մերձավոր Արևելքում լարվածությանը։
