Ամերիկացի ձեռնարկատեր Իլոն Մասկը հուլիսից ի վեր ավելի քան 276 միլիոն դոլար է նվիրաբերել ԱՄՆ Հանրապետական կուսակցության կազմակերպություններին՝ միջանկյալ ընտրություններում աջակցելու համար, հայտնում է New York Times պարբերականը՝ հղում անելով բիզնեսմենի ներկայացուցիչներին, հաղորդում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստի-ն:
Պարբերականի տվյալներով՝ ձգտելով պահպանել հանրապետականների մեծամասնությունը Սենատում, բիզնեսմենը 158 միլիոն դոլար է փոխանցել Senate Leadership Fund հիմնադրամին, ինչպես նաև ավելի քան 76 միլիոն դոլար է հատկացրել իր սեփական America PAC կոմիտեին:
«Այս լայնամասշտաբ ներդրումները թույլ տվեցին Հանրապետական կուսակցության ապարատին տեղ հասցնել իր գաղափարները, որպեսզի հանրապետականներն իրական հնարավորություն ունենան մարտահրավեր նետելու պատմությանը»,- հայտարարել է America PAC-ի ներկայացուցիչ Էնդրյու Ռոմեոն:
Մնացած միջոցները Մասկն ուղղել է հանրապետական այլ քաղաքական կազմակերպությունների, այդ թվում՝ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի և Սենատի թեկնածուների աջակցության հիմնադրամներին: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, 2025-2026 թվականների ցիկլի ընթացքում միլիարդատերը քաղաքական նպատակների վրա ծախսել է շուրջ 366 միլիոն դոլար: Սա զգալիորեն գերազանցում է 2024 թվականի ընտրությունների նրա ծախսերը, նշվում է հրապարակման մեջ:
Պարբերականը նկատում է, որ Մասկը կատարել է նաև չբացահայտված նվիրատվություններ, որի պատճառով ընդհանուր գումարը կարող է ավելի բարձր լինել:
