Հայաստանի նախկին վարչապետ, ԱՄՆ-ում ՀՀ նախկին դեսպան, այժմ ԵՏՀ ղեկավար Տիգրան Սարգսյանը`  հայ ժողովրդի սուրբ առաքելության մասին:

Հատկանշականն այն է, որ ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետը այժմ հնարավորինս քիչ է երևում հանրության աչքին, ավելին` գրեթե չի խոսում: Սակայն երեկ նա Faebook-ի իր անձնական էջում օտար լեզվով` ռուսերենով, արտահայտվել է հայ ժողովրդի բացառիկության մասին: ԵՏՀ ղեկավարի մտքերը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև: 

«Անցյալ տարի աշխատանքային գործերով երկու անգամ Ֆրնզոյում եղա, որտեղ հին ու հզոր հայկական համայնք կա: Այն կազմավորվել է 19-րդ դարում և մեզ է նվիրել Վիլյամ Սարոյանին իր զարմացնող կենսասիրությամբ ու հումորով: Ես անընդհատ մեջբերում եմ նրա հերոսներից մեկի խոսքը, որ այս աշխարհում ինչ-որ բան ինչ-որ տեղ սխալ է: Եվ մենք ամբողջ կյանքում փորձում ենք գտնել այդ ճշմարտությունը, ինչն էլ հենց զարգացման շարժիչ ուժն է: Եթե ոչ մարդու, ապա հասարակությանը` հաստատ։ Հայրենիքից այդքան հեռու ի՞նչ են փնտրում այդքան կազմակերպված, հաջողակ ու հարգված հայերը։ Ինչ-որ անհասկանալի ու գերբնական ուժ է նրանց առաջ մղում։ Նրանց մոտ դա ոչ թե գիտակցական, այլ գենետիկ մակարդակում է:

Դա մի անհասկանալի առաքելություն է, որը նրանց դարձրել է Երուսաղեմի քրիստոնեական սրբությունների պահապան (Հին քաղաքի մեկ քարորդը պատկանում է Հայկական եկեղեցուն), որը ստիպում է Ավստրալիայից մինչև Կանդա սկզբից եկեղեցիներ, այնուհետև սեփական կացարաններ կառուցել, որը նրանց տանում է Իսիկ Կուլ ու Սինգապուր և այլն։

Ճակատագրով նրանց է վիճակված պահպանել և փոխանցել ուրիշներին: Ոչ իրենց համար, այլ ինչ-որ վեհ ու շնորհակալ բանի համար, քանզի այդ առաքելությունները միայն ողբերգություններ և տանջանք են բերում նրանց՝ աննկարագրելի ու անբացատրելի։ Դրա համար են նրանց վստահում սուրբ մասունքներ, սուրբ պատկերն ու սրբավայրեր»:
