 Trinity Mirror բրիտանական մեդիահոլդինգը հայտարարել Է, որ շուտով սկսվելու Է The New Day (Նոր օր») անվանումը կրող նոր օրաթերթի թողարկումը: The New Day-ի հայտնվելը կդառնա Մեծ Բրիտանիայում 30 տարվա ընթացքում նոր ազգային թերթի առաջին թողարկումը: Trinity Mirror-ի մեջ այժմ մտնում են Sunday Mirror, Daily Mirror եւ Sunday People թերթերը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

«Տարեկան կես միլիոն ընթերցողներ հրաժարվում են թերթ գնելուց, եւ մենք կարծում ենք, որ այդպես չպետք Է լինի, եթե արտադրանքը ճիշտ Է: Մենք որոշել ենք սկսել մաքուր Էջից, եւ հուսով ենք, որ The New Day-ը թույլ կտա մասնակիորեն հետ շրջել պահանջարկի անկումը»,-BBC-ի եթերում հայտարարել Է Trinity Mirror-ի ղեկավար Սայմոն Ֆոքսը: 

Փետրվարի 29-ին թերթի առաջին թողարկումը կտարածվի անվճար, ինչից հետո երկու շաբաթվա ընթացքում յուրաքանչյուր օրինակը կվաճառվի 25 փենսով: Հետագայում թերթի գինը կսահմանվի 50 փենս, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
