Նեպալին կպահանջվի շուրջ 4,74 միլիարդ դոլար երկրի ժամանակակից պատմության մեջ ամենակործանարար ջրհեղեղից հետո վերականգնման համար, որը գրեթե 1,400 մարդու կյանք է խլել։ Այս մասին հայտնել է The Kathmandu Post թերթը՝ հղում անելով վնասի մասշտաբների վերաբերյալ իշխանությունների զեկույցին, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

Ծախսերի ենթադրյալ գումարի ամենամեծ մասը՝ 3,1 միլիարդ դոլար, բաժին է ընկնում ենթակառուցվածքներին։ Այն ներառում է ավելի քան 2,56 միլիարդ դոլար՝ էլեկտրացանցերի և վնասված 13 ՀԷԿ-ի վերականգնման, ինչպես նաև ավելի քան 481 միլիոն դոլար՝ ավերված ճանապարհների և կամուրջների նորոգման ու վերակառուցման համար։

Աղետների ռիսկերի նվազեցման և հետևանքների վերացման ազգային վարչության ղեկավար Դհարմա Ռաջ Ուպրետիի խոսքով՝ ծախսերի գնահատումը հիմնված է նախարարությունների, կառավարական հիմնարկների և տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների հավաքագրած տվյալների վրա։

«Սա նախնական գնահատական է»,- նշել է նա՝ հավելելով, որ դրա համար պահանջվել է ջրհեղեղից առաջ և հետո եղած տվյալների համեմատություն։ Փորձագետները նաև անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր են օգտագործել ըստ ոլորտների վնասը գնահատելու համար, հավելել է Ուպրետին։

Հիշեցնենք, որ օգոստոսի 26-ին Նեպալի հյուսիսում հզոր հեղեղում է առաջացել։ Տարերային աղետի պատճառ է դարձել Չինաստանի հետ սահմանին՝ «Ռասուվագադհի» սահմանային անցակետից մոտ 20 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք տեղի ունեցած ձյունահյուսքը։ Լեռնային ապարների հոսքը հսկայական արագությամբ գետի հունով անցել է ավելի քան 70 կմ՝ ավերելով բնակավայրեր և ջրասույզ անելով մեծ տարածք։ Վերջին տվյալներով՝ անհետ կորած է համարվում ավելի քան 5,000 մարդ, այդ թվում՝ 589 օտարերկրյա քաղաքացի։
