Սպիտակ տանը որոշել են Ուիթքոֆին և Քուշներին փոխարինել ԿՀՎ-ի տնօրենով՝ Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետ բանակցություններում

Անցած շաբաթ օրը Ռուսաստանի կատարած Սթիվ Ուիթքոֆի այցը՝ որպես Դոնալդ Թրամփի հատուկ բանագնաց Ուկրաինայում խաղաղ կարգավորման շուրջ բանակցություններում, կարող է լինել վերջինը։ Մոսկվա կատարած ութ այցերը (և ընդամենը մեկը՝ Կիև) ավարտվել են առանց արդյունքի։ Եվ այժմ Սպիտակ տունը դիտարկում է Ուիթքոֆի և նախագահի փեսա Ջարեդ Քուշների մասնակցությունը բանակցություններին կրճատելու հնարավորությունը, հայտնել են Financial Times-ին այդ ծրագրերին ծանոթ հինգ անձինք։

Պատրաստվում է նախաձեռնությունը ստանձնել ԿՀՎ-ի տնօրեն Ջոն Ռեթքլիֆը՝ մաքոքային դիվանագիտության շրջանակում, իրենց եվրոպացի գործընկերներին հայտնել են նրան մոտ կանգնած ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաները։ Միևնույն ժամանակ Ռեթքլիֆը կշարունակի կապ պահպանել Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հետախուզական ծառայությունների աշխատակիցների հետ։

Սպիտակ տունը և ԿՀՎ-ն հրաժարվել են մեկնաբանել հնարավոր փոփոխությունները։ FT-ի իրազեկ աղբյուրները նշել են, որ Թրամփը դեռ վերջնական որոշում չի ընդունել։ Սակայն Ուիթքոֆին հեռացնելու մասին լուրը խանդավառություն է առաջացրել եվրոպական մայրաքաղաքներում, որոնք հուսահատ սպասում են թեկուզ որևէ առաջընթացի Ռուսաստանի հետ մեկուկես տարվա անարդյունք բանակցություններից հետո, գրում է թերթը։

Ամերիկացի հատուկ բանագնացների հետ վերջին հանդիպման ժամանակ Պուտինը հայտարարել է, որ Մոսկվան վստահում է նրանց. «Այստեղ, իհարկե, շատ կարևոր է միջնորդության որակը, վստահությունը նրանց հանդեպ, ովքեր զբաղվում են դրանով։ Ուզում եմ ձեզ ասել, որ մեզ համար հարմարավետ է ձեզ հետ աշխատել, և, անշուշտ, այս աշխատանքի ընթացքում մեր կողմից վստահության մակարդակը բավականին բարձր է»։

Սակայն միաժամանակ Կրեմլը հասկացրել է Վաշինգտոնին, որ պատրաստ է քննարկել ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից նոր մոտեցում, պատմել են FT-ին ոչ պաշտոնական շփումներին մասնակցող մարդիկ։ Մոսկվայում Ուիթքոֆին մասամբ պատասխանատու են համարում այն բանի համար, որ Պուտինի և Թրամփի՝ 2025 թվականի օգոստոսին Ալյասկայում կայացած հանդիպմանը բեկում չեղավ, ըստ ուկրաինացի պաշտոնյաների և Կրեմլի դիրքորոշման մասին տեղեկացված անձանց։ Ուիթքոֆը համոզել էր Թրամփին անցկացնել գագաթնաժողովը՝ հասկացնելով, որ Պուտինը պատրաստ է որոշ զիջումների, մինչդեռ իրականում վերջինս Անքորիջում կրկնել է իր նույն պահանջները, ինչ միշտ։
