Վերջին տարիներին թշնամու կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման դեպերը ավելի հաճախակի են դարձել: Արձակվող փափուշտները զգալի վնասներ են հասցնում սահմանամերձ գյուղերի բնակչությանը: 2015 թվականին գործադիրը որոշում էր կայացրել վճարել սահմանամերձի բնակիչների կոմունալ վճարումների զգալի մասը: Օրերս արդեն կայացած ՀՀ կառավարության նիստում որոշում է կայացվել որպես աջակցություն սահմանամերձ համայնքներին հատկացվող 928,871.2 հազար դրամը տրամադրել Արարատի (թվով 2), Գեղարքունիքի (թվով 2), Վայոց Ձորի (թվով 5) և Տավուշի մարզերի (թվով 24) 33 սահմանամերձ համայնքների բնակիչներին բնական գազի, էլեկտրաէներգիայի, ոռոգման ջրի սակագնի մասնակի ու գույքահարկի և հողի հարկի փոխհատուցման նպատակով:

Վերը նշված որոշման համաձայն Արարատի մարզի Լանջազատ և Բարձրաշեն համայնքների բնակչության սպասարկումը բարելավելու նպատակով առաջարկվում է ստեղծել Լանջազատի առողջության առաջնային պահպանման կենտրոն: Այդ նպատակով բանակցություններ են անցկացվել տարբեր միջազգային կազմակերպությունների հետ. վերջիններս պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել ֆինանսավորել նախագիծը:

Հարկ է նշել, որ ներկայումս Լանջազատ և Բարձրաշեն համայնքների բնակչության բժշկական սպասարկումն իրականացնում է Արևաշատի առողջության առաջնային պահպանման կենտրոնը, ինչը մի շարք խնդիրներ է առաջացնում այդ համայնքների բնակչության համար:
