Al Jazeera․ ԱՄՆ-ն առայժմ չի ցանկանում երկրորդային պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել Չինաստանի դեմ՝ իրանական նավթի գնումների համար

ԱՄՆ-ն առայժմ հույս ունի խուսափել իրանական նավթ գնող չինական ընկերությունների դեմ երկրորդային պատժամիջոցներ սահմանելուց, սակայն Վաշինգտոնը պահպանում է այս միջոցը որպես Պեկինի վրա ճնշում գործադրելու հնարավոր գործիք։ Այս մասին Al Jazeera-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ-ի Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի նախկին աշխատակից Մարկ Պֆայֆլը։
Ըստ նրա, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը և Ֆինանսների նախարարությունը կարող են դիմել երկրորդային պատժամիջոցների, եթե դա անհրաժեշտ համարեն։ Առայժմ Վաշինգտոնը, հավանաբար, ձգտում է հասնել նրան, որ Չինաստանն ավելի ակտիվ նավթ գնի այլ մատակարարներից։
Պֆայֆլը նշել է, որ չինական նավթավերամշակող ընկերությունները գործող պատժամիջոցների պայմաններում զեղչով իրանական նավթ են գնում։ Դա նրանց առավելություն է տալիս համաշխարհային շուկայում մրցակիցների նկատմամբ։
Միաժամանակ, ամերիկացի նախկին պաշտոնյայի կարծիքով, Պեկինը շահագրգռված չէ աջակցելու Վաշինգտոնին և, հավանաբար, լռելյայն աջակցություն է ցուցաբերում Թեհրանին։
«Չինացիները երկարաժամկետ խաղ են վարում։ Նրանք դեմ չեն, որ ամերիկացիները ներքաշվեն ևս մեկ միջազգային արկածախնդրության մեջ, ինչպիսին Իրանի հետ այս պատերազմն է», — ասել է Պֆայֆլը։
Նա նաև նշել է, որ Չինաստանի դեմ լայնածավալ սահմանափակումների կիրառումը դիվանագիտական առումով բարդ կլիներ՝ երկու տնտեսությունների սերտ փոխկախվածության պատճառով։
