Հիմա, երբ նայում ենք մեր Ազգային ժողովի գործունեությանը և պարլամենտարիզմի դրսևորումներին, կարծում եմ՝ խելացի մարդկանց մոտ բնական հարց է առաջանում՝ արժե՞ր արդյոք ընկնել Արևմուտքի խելքին, փոխել մեր երկրի սահմանադրությունը և մեր երկրի կառավարման մոդելը դարձնել պառլամենտական, արդյո՞ք դա քաղաքականապես սխալ չէր, և նրանք, ովքեր գնացին այդ քայլին, չպետք է կրեն քաղաքական պատասխանատվություն և ընդունեն, որ իրենք ճակատագրական սխալ են գործել՝ հանուն Արևմուտքին դուր գալու կամ Արևմտյան շահերը սպասարկելու։ Իհարկե, այդտեղ կար նաև իրենց անձնական ամբիցիաները, բայց միևնույն է՝ դա արվել է կամ Արևմուտքին դուր գալու համար, կամ Արևմուտքի պատվերով, իսկ արդյունքը քաղում ենք բոլորս։

 Մի երկրում, որտեղ քաղաքական կուսակցությունները կայացած չեն, քաղաքական կյանքը կայացած չէ և չկա խորքային պետություն, վերցնել ու երկիրը դարձնել պառլամենտական կառավարման՝ քաղաքականապես տգետ և սեփական պետության շահերը չգիտակցված քայլերի արդյունք է։ Եվ, ցավոք սրտի, մեր ժողովուրդը կրում է այդ քաղաքական սխալների արդյունքները, իսկ մեր պետականությունը դրանից միայն տուժում է, բայց պատասխանատուներ չկան, չկան մարդիկ, ովքեր հայտարարեն, որ մենք սխալվել ենք, մենք սխալ ենք արել։ Հակառակը՝ յուրաքանչյուրը փորձում է իր սխալը բարդել դիմացինի վրա, և երբ մենք վերլուծում ենք Երրորդ Հանրապետության քաղաքական կյանքը, ստացվում է այնպես, որ որևէ մեկը որևէ բանի համար պատասխանատու կամ մեղավոր չէ՝ ում ինչ ասում ես՝ իր սխալները բարդում է դիմացինի վրա և փորձում իրեն ձևացնել իբրև հրեշտակ։

 Եվ այս անպատասխանատվության մթնոլորտն է նաև ծնում, որ Հայաստանում քաղաքական կյանքը իրականում ոչ թե ծառայում է մեր ժողովրդի և պետության շահերին, այլ՝ ծառայում է այլ պետությունների՝ մասնավորապես Արևմուտքի շահերին և Արևմտյան գեոպոլիտիկ նպատակներին։ Սրա դեմը պետք է առնել, և սրա դեմը առնելու համար Հայաստանում պետք է ձևավորվի պատասխանատվության ընկալում ունեցող, սեփական երկրի շահերը հասկացող քաղաքական էլիտա։

 Դա, այո, առանց ժողովրդի հնարավոր չէ, բայց դրա առաջին քայլը պետք է լինի այն, որ իսկապես սեփական երկրին և ժողովրդին սիրող մարդիկ պետք է գիտակցեն, որ ժամանակ է, որ իրենք իրենց ուսերի վրա կրեն պատասխանատվություն, եթե նույնիսկ ողջ կյանքում քաղաքականությամբ չեն զբաղվել, չեն սիրում քաղաքականությունը և առհասարակ իրենց չեն տեսնում քաղաքականության մեջ։

 Եվ միևնույն է՝ տեսնելով մեր քաղաքական մտքի սնանկությունն ու սեփական երկրի շահերը չգիտակցելու մոտեցումները, իրենց վրա պետք է պատասխանատվություն վերցնեն, միգուցե վերջին անգամ, բայց պետք է զբաղվեն քաղաքականությամբ։
