Չինաստանի Պեկինի մերձակայքում երկու տարեց մարդ, մոլորվելով լեռներում, շուրջ 30 ժամ շարունակ մնացել են անտառում։ Նրանք լսել են իրենց որոնող փրկարարների ձայները, սակայն չեն մոտեցել՝ կարծելով, թե իրենց կանչում են լեռնային դևերը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Past.am-ը՝ հղում անելով Scmp.com-ին:

Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել Հուաիրոու շրջանում։ 73-ամյա տղամարդն ու 58-ամյա կինը հուլիսի 29-ի երեկոյան գնացել էին լեռներ՝ խոտաբույսեր հավաքելու, սակայն կորցրել էին ճանապարհը։ Երկուսն էլ լսողության խնդիրներ ունեին և իրենց հետ չէին վերցրել ոչ սնունդ, ոչ ջուր, ոչ էլ բջջային հեռախոս։

Փրկարարները նրանց որոնել են մոտ 17 ժամ։ Սակայն պարզվել է, որ տարեցները դեռևս որոնումների ընթացքում լսել էին օգնության կանչերը, բայց գիտակցաբար շարժվել էին հակառակ ուղղությամբ։

Պատճառը տեղական սնահավատությունն էր։ Ըստ տարածված հավատալիքի՝ եթե լեռներում որևէ մեկը կանչում է ձեր անունը, չպետք է պատասխանեք նրան կամ բարձրաձայնեք, որ քաղցած կամ ծարավ եք։ Համարվում է, որ դա կարող է լինել ծանոթ մարդու ձայնը նմանակող դև, որը փորձում է «գողանալ հոգին» կամ տիրանալ մարդուն։

Տարեցները միայն այն ժամանակ են արձագանքել փրկարարներին, երբ նրանք մոտեցել են լեռան մյուս կողմից։

Ի վերջո, անհետացումից մոտ 30 ժամ անց փրկարարներին հաջողվել է գտնել նրանց։ Երկուսն էլ եղել են ուժասպառ, սակայն կենդանի։

Հուաիրոուի հրշեջ ծառայությունը բնակիչներին կոչ է արել միայնակ չմտնել վայրի լեռնային տարածքներ և վտանգի դեպքում չհետևել սնահավատություններին, այլ անմիջապես արձագանքել փրկարարների կանչերին և օգնություն խնդրել։
