Մինչ ԱՄՆ-ն և Իրանը հայտարարություններ են անում՝ «մենք հաղթեցինք», «ոչ, մենք հաղթեցինք», «նեղուցը մերն է», «ոչ, նեղուցը մերն է»՝ ամերիկյան շրջափակումն Իրանի շուրջ շարունակվում է։

Սովորական պատժամիջոցների համեմատ, որոնք ավելի դանդաղ են ազդում ոլորտների վրա և որոնց շրջանցման տարբերակներն այնուամենայնիվ կան՝ նեղուցի շրջափակումն ավելի ազդեցիկ է։

Իրանը շրջափակել է Հորմուզի նեղուցը, բայց միաժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ն իր ուժերն է տեղակայել և ըստ անհրաժեշտության կասեցնում է այն նավերին, որոնք փորձում են հասնել իրանական նավահանգիստներ։

Այսպիսով, նեղուցը շրջափակելով՝ Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը միաժամանակ վատթարացնում է նաև սեփական վիճակը, քանի որ ինքն էլ օգտվում է այդ նեղուցից, իսկ դրա փակման պայմաններում չի կարողանում նավերով նավթ արտահանել և վաճառել՝ ինչը ամենաարդյունավետ ճանապարհն է։

Հատկապես, երբ այն երկաթուղով արտահանելու դեպքում, և՛ ծավալներն են ցածր և՛ ծախսերն են ավելի բարձր։

Հուլիսի 14-ին, ժամանակավոր պայմանավորվածության ձախողումից հետո, ԱՄՆ-ը կրկին վերականգնեց Իրանի ափերի ռազմածովային շրջափակումը։ Այն ժամանակ Վաշինգտոնը հայտարարեց Իրանի ամբողջ առափնյա գոտու՝ ներառյալ նավահանգիստների և նավթային տերմինալների շրջափակման մասին։

Օգոստոսի 13-ին ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Փիթ Հեգսեթը հայտարարեց, որ ամերիկյան նավատորմն ի վիճակի է պահպանել անժամկետ շրջափակումը։ Դրա համար միայն անհրաժեշտ է պարբերաբար իրականացնել ռազմանավերի ռոտացիա, ինչը խնդիր չի առաջացնի։

Իրանի նավթի արտահանման հիմնական տերմինալը գտնվում է Խարգ կղզում։ Իրանական նավթի արտահանման մեծ մասն անցնում է հենց այնտեղով։ Financial Times-ի տվյալներով՝ հուլիսի 31-ից նավթատարների բնականոն ակտիվություն չի եղել, իսկ օգոստոսի սկզբին Իրանի արտահանումը գրեթե կանգ է առել։ Արբանյակային լուսանկարներն ու նավերի տեղաշարժի տվյալները նույնպես հաստատում են ակտիվության կտրուկ անկումը։

Սա զգալի հարված է ոչ միայն Իրանին, այլ նաև նավթի համաշխարհային շուկային։ Նավթը մեծ ծավալներով չի վաճառվում, բայց շարունակվում է արդյունահանվել:

Որքա՞ն գումար է Իրանը կորցնում շրջափակման պատճառով։ Տարբեր գնահատականներով՝ օրական 200-ից 435 միլիոն դոլար՝ կախված նրանից, թե ու՞մ գնահատականն ենք վերցնում։

Ինչ վերաբերում է շրջափակմանը, ապա ըստ ամերիկյան հաշվարկների, Եթե շրջափակումը լինի տևական, իրանական տնտեսությունն ավելի կթուլանա, ինչը ենթադրաբար կազդի նաև երկրի ներքին խնդիրների վրա։
