Թաիլանդի Նոնթաբուրիի նահանգում նախկին տեղացի պատգամավոր Չալոնգ Ռիվրաենգը կրակել է տեղական իշխանությունների պաշտոնյա Թոնգչայ Ենպրասերտի վրա նրա գրասենյակի առջև, այնուհետև զանգահարել է YouTube-ի ուղիղ եթերով հեռարձակվող հաղորդման հաղորդավարին և խոստովանել իր արարքը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հաղորդում է BBC-ն:
Նախկին պատգամավորը կրակել է Թոնգչայի պարանոցին: Վերջինս հիվանդանոցում մահացել է: Նրա վարորդը հրազենային վնասվածքներ է ստացել թևին և ձեռքին:Չոլանգն ուղիղ եթերում հաղորդավարին հայտնել է, որ իր և Թոնգչայի միջև գումարի հետ կապված տարաձայնություններ կային տեղական մարմինների անցյալ ընտրություններից հետո:
Չալոնգը ձերբակալվել է, սակայն նրան թույլ են տվել ոստիկանության բաժանմունքում մամուլի ասուլիս տալ, որի ընթացքում նա փորձել է բացատրել իր գործողությունների շարժառիթը: Նա նշել է, որ մտադիր չէր սպանել Թոնգչային, որն իր «լավ ընկերն» էր: Սակայն, ըստ կասկածյալի, Թոնգչայը հրել է իրեն և հրաժարվել խոսելուց: Այնուհետև Չոլանգը հետևել է նրան դեպի մեքենան, հանել ատրճանակը: Դրանից հետո Թոնգչայի վարորդը հանել է իր ատրճանակը, և Չոլանգը կրակ է բացել:
Այս հրաձգությունը տեղի է ունեցել նույն նահանգում, որտեղ դպրոցներից մեկում օգոստոսի 7-ին զանգվածային հրաձգություն էր տեղի ունեցել, որի հետևանքով 7 մարդ զոհվել էր, այդ թվում՝ հրաձիգը, որը դպրոցի աշակերտներից էր: 15 մարդ վիրավորվել էր: Դպրոցում հրաձգությունից առաջ հրաձիգը սպանել էր իր տատիկին և պապիկին:
Այս հրաձգությունից հետո Թաիլանդի վարչապետ Անուտին Չարնվիրակուլը հրահանգել է զենքի մասին օրենքների հետ կապված ավելի խիստ հսկողություն սահմանել:
