Մենդին վաճառել է ԱԱ-2018-ի իր չեմպիոնական գավաթն ու կոշտ պատասխանել քննադատներին

Ֆրանսիայի հավաքականի կազմում 2018 թվականի աշխարհի չեմպիոն Բենժամեն Մենդին վաճառել է Աշխարհի գավաթի իր պաշտոնական կրկնօրինակը և հասցրել կոշտ արձագանքել այդ քայլին հաջորդած քննադատություններին։

Ամերիկյան Goldin աճուրդի տանը կազմակերպված «Global Football Auction Part 2» աճուրդի արդյունքում 32-ամյա ֆուտբոլիստի գավաթը վաճառվել է 62 հազար երկու հարյուր դոլարով։ Նոր սեփականատերը ստացել է հենց Մենդիի կողմից ստորագրված իսկության հավաստագիր։ Հայտնի է, որ գավաթի հիմքի վրա կա փոքր ճաք և մաշվածության նշաններ, ինչպես նաև հուշագրություն՝ նվիրված Ռուսաստանում կայացած Մունդիալում Ֆրանսիայի հավաքականի հաղթանակին։

Աշխարհի չեմպիոնի այս անսպասելի որոշումը բուռն քննարկումների և քննադատությունների տեղիք էր տվել համացանցում։ «Մանչեսթեր Սիթիի» նախկին պաշտպանը չի լռել և իր Snapchat-ում պատասխանել է դժգոհողներին.

«Սա ի՞մ գավաթն է, թե՞ ձեր: Իրականում այն ինձ է պատկանում: Սա իմ գավաթն է, և ես դրա հետ անում եմ այն, ինչ ուզում եմ: Բացի այդ, այն պահարանումս չափազանց շատ տեղ էր զբաղեցնում»,- գրել է Մենդին:

Ավելի ուշ պաշտպանը հրապարակել է իր կարիերայի ընթացքում նվաճած այլ տիտղոսների լուսանկարներ՝ հեգնանքով ակնարկելով.

«Ի դեպ, ես դեռ վաճառելու ուրիշ բաներ էլ ունեմ»։

Հիշեցնենք, որ ժամանակին աշխարհի ամենաթանկարժեք պաշտպանը համարվող Մենդին 2021 թվականին հայտնվել էր ծանր դատավարությունների կենտրոնում՝ մեղադրվելով բռնաբարության մի քանի դրվագներով։ Երկու տարվա ընդմիջումից, որի մի մասը նա անցկացրեց բանտում, 2023 թվականի հուլիսին ֆրանսիացին լիովին արդարացվեց բոլոր մեղադրանքներով։

Դրանից հետո ֆրանսիացին փորձեց վերականգնել կարիերան «Լորիանում» և շվեյցարական «Ցյուրիխում», իսկ 2025 թվականի սեպտեմբերից հանդես է գալիս լեհական «Պոգոնում», որի հետ վերջերս երկարաձգել է պայմանագիրը ևս մեկ տարով։ Խոսելով Լեհաստան տեղափոխվելու մասին՝ Մենդին նշել էր, որ իրեն գրավել է ակումբի ծրագիրն ու վերականգնվելու համար ժամանակ տրամադրելու պատրաստակամությունը։
