Չնայած Չինաստանին բաժին է ընկնում աշխարհի տարեկան ածխի սպառման կեսից ավելին, բայց նա նաև ակտիվորեն ներդրումներ է կատարում արևային էներգիայի նախագծերում։ Դրանցից ամենամեծը Գոնգե ֆոտովոլտային պարկն է, որը ընդգրկում է Տիբեթյան սարահարթի մոտ 420 քառակուսի կիլոմետր տարածք, գրում է mail.kz–ն։

BGR-ի տվյալներով այս տարածքը Մանհեթենից յոթ անգամ մեծ է։

Ընդհանուր առմամբ, արևային էլեկտրակայանը աննկատելիորեն փոխում է շրջակա անապատը, քանի որ վահանակները ստեղծում են հողում բույսերի աճի համար հարմար պայմաններ։ Տարածքի էլեկտրակայաններից մեկը՝ Talatan Solar Park-ը, համաձայնագիր է կնքել տեղի ֆերմերների հետ, որը թույլ է տալիս ոչխարներին արածել տարածքում։ Արևային վահանակների տակ ոչխարների արածեցումը ենթադրում է ոչխարների օգտագործումը որպես բնական «կանաչապատման բրիգադ»։ Արևային վահանակների տակ խոտը կարող է այնքան բարձրանալ, որ արգելափակի արևի լույսը կամ հրդեհի վտանգ ներկայացնի, բայց ոչխարները վայելում են վահանակների ստվերը և ուրախությամբ արածում են։ Նրանք նույնիսկ ավելի արդյունավետ են, քան խոտհնձիչները, քանի որ կարող են ներխուժել սյուների և վահանակների միջև ընկած նեղ տարածությունների միջով, չհաշված այն, որ ավելի էկոլոգիապես մաքուր են։ Այս գործարքները, որոնք ներառում են ոչխարների արածեցումը արևային վահանակների տակ, նաև լրացուցիչ եկամտի աղբյուր են տեղական ֆերմերների համար։

Թալաթանում արևային վահանակները նույնիսկ հարմարեցվել են ոչխարների կարիքներին։ Առաջին վահանակները, որոնք տեղադրվել են 2012 թվականին, չափազանց ցածր էին արածեցնող կենդանիների համար, ուստի դրանք այժմ տեղադրվել են ավելի բարձր։ Տիբեթը միակ վայրը չէ, որտեղ ոչխարներն օգտագործվում են արևային վահանակների տակ խոտը մաքուր պահելու համար։ 2018 թվականից ի վեր Ամերիկյան արևային արածեցման ասոցիացիան (ASGA) աշխատում է ֆերմերներին և արևային ընկերություններին միավորել փոխադարձ օգուտի համար։

Որոշ ուսումնասիրություններ ցույց են տվել, որ արևային կայանքների տակ գտնվող հողը դարձել է ավելի առողջ, ինչը նպաստում է կենսաբազմազանությանը։ Արևային վահանակները նաև արդեն փրկել են կյանքեր նվազեցնելով օդի աղտոտվածությունը։ Արևային էներգիայի ներդրումները կարող են նաև նվազեցնել էներգիայի ծախսերը և ստեղծել աշխատատեղեր։
