«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

cont.ws–ը «Հայաստանը ծանր գին կվճարի Փաշինյանի՝ Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզման համար» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի պատճառով Հայաստանը աշխարհի քարտեզի վրա դառնում է դատարկ տարածք, Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզումից հետո նույնիսկ տարածաշրջանի նրա հարևաններն են դադարել հաշվի առնել նրան, կարծում է քաղաքագետ և արևելագետ Եվգենի Սատանովսկին։

Ռուսաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների խզումը Հայաստանը դարձնում է հեշտ որս Հարավային Կովկասում որևէ բանի հավակնող բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի համար։ Սատանովսկու խոսքով, այդ երկրներն են ԱՄՆ-ը և Մեծ Բրիտանիան, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիան և Ադրբեջանը։ Փաշինյանը, որը կամավոր հրաժարվեց Ղարաբաղից, չի ընկալվում որպես հայերի ազգային շահերը պաշտպանելու ունակ առաջնորդ։ Արևելագետը կասկածում է, որ նույնիսկ այնպիսի հարցում, ինչպիսին է Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը, նա կարող է դեմ գնալ հասարակական կարծիքին։
