Սինգապուրի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Լոուրենս Վոնգը շնորհավորել է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին Հայաստանում ընտրություններում տարած հաղթանակի առիթով: Ուղերձում ասված է.
«Հարգելի՛ վարչապետ Փաշինյան,
Խնդրում եմ ընդունեք իմ ջերմագին շնորհավորանքներն անցյալ ամիս տեղի ունեցած Հայաստանի Հանրապետության խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում Ձեր հաղթանակի առթիվ:
Սինգապուրը և Հայաստանը բարեկամական հարաբերություններ ունեն, որոնք հիմնված են երկարատև պատմական կապերի վրա։ Չնայած 2027 թվականին կլրանա երկկողմ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 35-ամյակը, Հայաստանի ներդրումը Սինգապուրում սկսվել է դրանից ավելի քան մեկ դար առաջ։ Սինգապուրի ամենահին եկեղեցին՝ Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ հայկական եկեղեցին, կառուցվել է Սինգապուրում 1835 թվականին և 1973 թվականին գրանցվել է որպես ազգային հուշարձան՝ ի նշան Սինգապուրի վաղ շրջանի փոքր, բայց ազդեցիկ հայ համայնքի ներդրման։ Հայկական եկեղեցին այս տարի նշում է իր 190-ամյակը։ Սինգապուրի ազգային ծաղիկը՝ Վանդա միսս Ջոակիմը, նույնպես բուծել է հայուհի տիկին Ագնես Ջոակիմը։
Ես նաև ողջունում եմ Հայաստանի կողմից 2025 թվականի մայիսին Սինգապուրում պատվավոր հյուպատոսության բացումը։ Սա մեր երկկողմ փոխգործակցության ամրապնդմանն ուղղված ևս մեկ քայլ է։
Որպես Փոքր Պետությունների Ֆորումի գործընկեր անդամներ, մենք նաև կիսում ենք միջազգային իրավունքի պահպանման, ազատ առևտրի խթանման և կանոնների վրա հիմնված միջազգային կարգի պահպանման ընդհանուր շահագրգռվածություն։ Հաշվի առնելով մեր ընդհանուր շահերը, դեռևս կա ներուժ ընդլայնելու մեր երկկողմ համագործակցությունը փոխշահավետ ոլորտներում, ինչպիսիք են՝ առևտուրը և մարդկանց միջև փոխանակումները։
