ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության հատկացումներով 2026 թ. իրականացվում են Վայոց ձորի մարզի Շատիվանք վանական համալիր Սբ Սիոն եկեղեցու որմնանկարի  (17-րդ դ.) ամրակայման և մաքրման աշխատանքները:

2024 թ. մշտադիտարկման արդյունքում արձանագրվել էր, որ վանական համալիրը վթարային վիճակում է, ինչպես նաև անմխիթար վիճակում են Սբ Սիոն եկեղեցու որմնանկարները, որոնք պատերի մրի, կեղտի, վանդալիզմի ու անձրևաջրերի հետևանքով գրեթե չեն երևում։ 

2025 թ. պետության հատկացված միջոցներով մրցույթ է հայտարարվել որմնանկարի վերականգնման գիտանախագծային փաստաթղթերի մշակման համար։ Հաղթող ճանաչված «Ռեստարտ-1» ընկերության (որմնանկարի վերականգնող մասնագետ՝ Ավետիս Ստեփանյան) կազմած գիտանախագծային փաստաթղթերը սահմանված կարգով ներկայացվել են նախարարությանը կից մոնումենտալ արվեստի հուշարձանների հարցերով աշխատանքային խմբի համաձայնեցմանը:

2026 թ. սկսվել են Սբ Սիոն եկեղեցու որմնանկարների ամրակայման ու մաքրման աշխատանքները․ վերականգնումն իրականացնում է մրցույթում հաղթող ճանաչված «Նիկոլայ Միխայլով» Ա/Ձ-ն։

Սբ Սիոն եկեղեցու որմնանկարների ամրակայման ու մաքրման աշխատանքների արդյունքում՝ հաստ մրի, հալեցրած մոմերի մաքրումից հետո բացվել են վառ գույներով, քրիստոնեական միջնադարյան որմնանկարչության տեսարաններ ու զարդանախշեր: Հատկապես հետաքրքրական է «Վերջին ընթրիքը» տեսարանում պատկերված Քրիստոսի դիմանկարը՝ կարմիր լուսապսակով, կապույտ թիկնոցով, աջը՝ օրհնության պահին, դեմքն ուղղած դեպի դիտողը: Քրիստոսի դիմանկարում՝  աջ ձեռքի պատկերն աչքի է ընկնում գունային նրբությամբ:

Ցավոք, Սբ Սիոն եկեղեցու ոչ բոլոր որմնանկարներն են պահպանվել, սակայն ներկայում վերականգնվող մեզ հասած որմնանկարների մասնակի բացված հատվածներից կարելի է ենթադրել, որ նկարիչը տեսարանները պատկերել է զարդանախշված շրջանակի մեջ՝ կից արձանագրությամբ բացատրելով յուրաքանաչյուր տեսարանը, ինչը բնորոշ է քրիստոնեական միջնադարյան արվեստին: Ըստ նախագծի՝ որմնանկարների վերականգնողական աշխատանքները կավարտվեն  այս տարվա վերջին:

Պետության հատկացրած միջոցներով Շատիվանք վանական համալիրի պեղման, ամրակայման, նորոգման ու վերականգնման աշխատանքներն իրականացվում են արդեն երկրորդ տարին և կշարունակվեն առաջիկա տարիներին:
