Ֆրանսիայի ազգային հավաքականի հարձակվող և ավագ Կիլիան Մբապեն մեկնաբանել է աշխարհի առաջնության կիսաեզրափակչում Իսպանիայի ընտրանուց կրած պարտությունը (0-2)։
«Մենք չցուցադրեցինք այն խաղը, որը ցանկանում էինք. ո՛չ տակտիկական, ո՛չ տեխնիկական և ո՛չ էլ ընդհանուր մակարդակի առումով։ Երբ աշխարհի առաջնության կիսաեզրափակչում չես անում այն, ինչ պետք է անես, չես հաղթում։ Իսպանիան հավատարիմ մնաց իր խաղային պլանին, որով էլ հայտնի է. թիմ, որը սիրում է վերահսկել գնդակն ու թելադրել տեմպը։ Գաղափարն այն էր, որ նրանց վրա բարձր ճնշում գործադրենք՝ թույլ չտալով անցնել ավելի դանդաղ ռիթմի, սակայն մեզ դա չհաջողվեց։ Չափազանց շատ տեխնիկական սխալներ կային, մենք չգիտեինք, թե ինչպես վնասազերծել նրանց, երբ դրա անհրաժեշտությունը կար։
Մենք թույլ տվեցինք նրանց թելադրել տեմպը, պետք է փոխեինք ուժերի հարաբերակցությունը, և հենց այստեղ մենք ձախողվեցինք։ Հենց սկզբից՝ ճնշման և նրանց վրա գրոհելու ձևի պատճառով, մենք անընդհատ կիսապաշտպանությունում հայտնվում էինք երեքը երկուսի դեմ իրավիճակում, իսկ Իսպանիայի դեմ դա արդեն բարդ է։ Ֆաբիան Ռուիսն ու Ռոդրին շատ ժամանակ ունեին, պրեսինգում փոխըմբռնումը պակասում էր։ Մեզ անհրաժեշտ էր խաղալ մեկը մեկի դեմ, ստիպել նրանց վազել մեզ հետ, քանի որ այն թիմերից են, որոնք չեն սիրում վազել առանց գնդակի։ Եվ անգամ երբ մենք խլում էինք գնդակը, տեխնիկապես առաջին փոխանցումներն ու առաջին հպումներն արժանի չէին աշխարհի առաջնության կիսաեզրափակիչին։ Այս ամենը միասին հանգեցնում է պարտության»,- Մբապեի խոսքերը մեջբերում է RMC Sport-ը։
Աշխարհի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալների համար հանդիպումը կկայանա հուլիսի 18-ին։ Երրորդ տեղի համար պայքարում Ֆրանսիայի ազգային հավաքականը կմրցի Անգլիա — Արգենտինա զույգի պարտվողի դեմ։
