Բրազիլիայի տարածքում Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից ռազմական ուժ կիրառելու հավանականություն է առաջացել: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Բրազիլիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մաուրո Վիեյրան, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«Ամերիկյան իշխանությունների որոշումը լուրջ ռիսկեր է պարունակում Բրազիլիայի քաղաքացիների համար ֆինանսական և միգրացիոն ոլորտներում։ Վերջապես, Բրազիլիայի տարածքում Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից ռազմական ուժ կիրառելու հավանականություն է առաջացել», - մեջբերում է CNN Brasil հեռուստաալիքը նախարարի պատասխանը Բրազիլիայի Կոնգրեսի Պատգամավորների պալատում տեղի ունեցած լսումների ժամանակ ազգային անվտանգության սպառնալիքների մասին հարցին։
Հեռուստաալիքի տեղեկություններով՝ բրազիլական դիվանագիտական գերատեսչության աղբյուրները կարծում են, որ Comando Vermelho (CV, «Կարմիր հրամանատարություն») և Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC, «Առաջին մայրաքաղաքային հրամանատարություն») հանցավոր խմբավորումները «միջազգային ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների» ցանկում ներառելու Վաշինգտոնի արմատական քայլը առավելություններ չի տա կազմակերպված հանցավորության դեմ համատեղ պայքարի համար։
Ավելի վաղ Բրազիլիան արդեն իսկ սպառնալիք էր անվանել ինքնիշխանությանը ԱՄՆ-ի՝ հունիսի 5-ից տեղական հանցավոր խմբավորումները ահաբեկչական ճանաչելու որոշումը։
