Կատարի վարչապետը ԱՄՆ բանագնացների հետ քննարկել է Վաշինգտոնի և Թեհրանի բանակցությունները

Կատարի վարչապետ և արտաքին գործերի նախարար շեյխ Մուհամմեդ բեն Աբդել Ռահման Ալ Թանին ԱՄՆ նախագահի հատուկ բանագնաց Սթիվ Ուիթքոֆի և Դոնալդ Թրամփի փեսա Ջարեդ Քուշների հետ քննարկել է ռազմական գործողությունների դադարեցման վերաբերյալ Իրանի և ԱՄՆ-ի հուշագրի շրջանակներում ընթացող բանակցությունները։ Այս մասին հայտնել է Կատարի ԱԳՆ-ն, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
«Կատարը կշարունակի միջնորդի դեր կատարել և աջակցել հուշագրով նախատեսված բանակցային բոլոր գործընթացներին՝ հանուն համապարփակ և երկարաժամկետ կարգավորման հասնելու», - ասվում է գերատեսչության հայտարարության մեջ։
Կողմերը մտքեր են փոխանակել նաև Մերձավոր Արևելքում տիրող իրավիճակի շուրջ՝ հատուկ ուշադրություն դարձնելով Լիբանանում հրադադարին։ Հանդիպման մասնակիցները համակարծիք են եղել, որ հրադադարի ռեժիմը պետք է պահպանել և ամրապնդել՝ հանրապետության միասնությունը, ինքնիշխանությունը և կայունությունը երաշխավորելու համար։
Ամերիկյան պատվիրակությունը բարձր է գնահատել Կատարի և Պակիստանի ջանքերը երկխոսության կազմակերպման գործում։ Ուիթքոֆը և Քուշները հավաստիացրել են, որ Վաշինգտոնը մտադիր է շարունակել մասնակցել բանակցություններին և աջակցել համապարփակ համաձայնության հասնելուն ուղղված դիվանագիտական ջանքերին։
Հիշեցենք, որ ավելի վաղ Թրամփը հայտնել էր, որ Իրանը հանդիպում է խնդրել ամերիկյան կողմի հետ։ Վաշինգտոնին խորհրդակցությունների ժամանակ ներկայացնում են Ուիթքոֆը և Քուշները։ Սակայն, Կատարի ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչ Մաջիդ բեն Մուհամմեդ ալ-Անսարիի խոսքով, Դոհայում ԱՄՆ և Իրանի պատվիրակությունների միջև ուղղակի բանակցություններ նախատեսված չեն։
