Հունիսի 30-ին ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդունել է աշխատանքային այցով Հայաստան ժամանած Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարար Սուլխան Թամազաշվիլիի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը։ ՆԳ նախարարությունում կայացել է դիմավորման հանդիսավոր արարողություն, հնչել են երկու երկրների օրհներգերը։

Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախարարները ծաղիկներ են խոնարհել հանուն հայրենիքի և ծառայողական պարտականությունները կատարելիս զոհված ոստիկանների հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշապատին։

Պաշտոնական հանդիպմանը ՆԳ նախարար Արփինե Սարգսյանը շնորհավորել է Սուլխան Թամազաշվիլիին Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարի պաշտոնում նշանակվելու կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով արդյունավետ գործունեություն։

Արփինե Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի բարեկամական հարաբերությունները հիմնված են փոխադարձ վստահության և երկարամյա արդյունավետ համագործակցության վրա։

ՆԳ նախարարը բարձր է գնահատել երկու երկրների իրավապահ մարմինների միջև հաստատված սերտ փոխգործակցությունը։

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարար Սուլխան Թամազաշվիլին նշել է, որ սա իր առաջին այցն է Հայաստան՝ Վրաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարի պաշտոնում, և ընդգծել, որ բարձր է գնահատում Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի միջև ձևավորված բարեկամական ու գործընկերային հարաբերությունները։ Նա վստահություն է հայտնել, որ երկու երկրների ներքին գործերի նախարարությունների միջև համագործակցությունը շարունակվելու է ամրապնդվել և զարգանալ։

Հայաստանի և Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախարարները ընդգծել են նաև Հարավային Կովկասում կայուն խաղաղության պահպանման կարևորությունը։

Սուլխան Թամազաշվիլին, ի նշան բարեկամության, Արփինե Սարգսյանի գլխավորությամբ ՀՀ ՆԳ նախարարության պատվիրակությանը հրավիրել է Վրաստան՝ ընդգծելով երկկողմ շփումների կարևորությունը։ Նախարար Սարգսյանն ընդունել է հրավերը՝ նշելով, որ փոխայցերը նոր խթան կհաղորդեն համագործակցության ընդլայնմանը։

Հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են երկկողմ համագործակցության լայն շրջանակ, ինչպես նաև փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող այլ հարցեր։
