Ապարանում Սբ Պողոս-Պետրոս եկեղեցին հայտնվել է ջրի տակ

«Պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի աշխատակիցները՝ տնօրենի տեղակալ Հայկ Դանիելյանի, գիտնական-քարտուղար Ավետիս Գրիգորյանի և Արագածոտնի մարզային ծառայության մասնագետների մասնակցությամբ, հերթական մշտադիտարկման շրջայց են իրականացրել Արագածոտնի մարզի Ապարան համայնքի մի շարք հուշարձանների տարածքում։
ՊՈԱԿ-ից հայտնում են, որ շրջայցի ընթացքում փաստագրվել է Ապարանի ջրամբարի ջրածածկման գոտում հայտնված Սբ Պողոս-Պետրոս եկեղեցու ներկայիս վիճակը, ինչպես նաև տեղումների պատճառով փլուզված Ափնագյուղի 19-րդ դարի կամուրջը։ Մշտադիտարկման ծրագրում ընդգրկված են եղել նաև Եղիպատրուշի Սբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցին, Աստվածընկալ եկեղեցական համալիրը և այլ պատմական կառույցներ։
Ապարանի ջրամբարն ու ջրի տակ մնացած պատմությունը
Ուղիղ 60 տարի առաջ՝ 1966 թվականին, Քասախ գետի ջրերով լցվեց նորակառույց Ապարանի ջրամբարը։ Ջրածածկման գոտում հայտնվեցին 3 բնակավայրեր և դրանց տարածքում գտնվող տասնյակ պատմամշակութային հուշարձաններ։
1966-1967 թթ․ ընթացքում հնարավոր եղավ փրկել ու ջրամբարի արևելյան ափի բարձունքին վերակառուցել Զովունի գյուղի 4-7-րդ դարերի Թուխ Մանուկ և Սբ Վարդան եկեղեցիները։ Սակայն 4-րդ դարի եզակի կառույցը՝ Սբ Պողոս-Պետրոս եկեղեցին, բազմաթիվ վերակառուցումների և քարի փխրունության պատճառով հնարավոր չեղավ տեղափոխել, և այն մնաց իր պատմական վայրում։
Ուշագրավ փաստ. Մշտադիտարկման տվյալները ցույց են տալիս, որ անցած 60 տարիների ընթացքում եկեղեցին 9 անգամ ամբողջությամբ հայտնվել է ջրի տակ։ Այս տարի ևս, առատ տեղումների հետևանքով, ջրամբարի ջրի մակարդակը հասել է առավելագույն նիշին՝ կիսով չափ ծածկելով վաղմիջնադարյան կառույցը։
Ըստ պատմական տվյալների՝ Սբ Պողոս-Պետրոս եկեղեցին հավանաբար կառուցվել է 4-րդ դարում՝ հեթանոսական տաճարի հիմքերի վրա։ Կառույցի որմնամույթերից մեկին պահպանված արձանագրության մեջ հիշատակվում է Գնթունյաց նախարարական տան գլխավոր իշխան Գրիգորի անունը, ում ջանքերով էլ վեր է խոյացել տաճարը։
