Հայաստանի կանանց թենիսի հավաքականը պատմական հաջողություն է գրանցել՝ 17 տարվա դադարից հետո վերադառնալով II խումբ

Ծաղկաձորում ավարտվել են Դևիսի գավաթի խաղարկության եվրոպական գոտու 4-րդ խմբի հանդիպումները։ Հայաստանի թենիսի տղամարդկանց հավաքականը մրցաշարում զբաղեցրել է 2-րդ տեղը և հաջորդ տարի հանդես կգա արդեն 3-րդ խմբում։

Մեծ հաջողություն է գրանցել նաև Հայաստանի կանանց թենիսի հավաքականը Բիլլի Ջին Քինգի գավաթում՝ կանանց աշխարհի թիմային հեղինակավոր մրցաշարում։ Հայաստանի հավաքականը փայլուն ելույթ ունեցավ՝ հաղթելով բոլոր հիմնական հանդիպումներում։

Մեր աղջիկները վստահ առավելության հասան Ադրբեջանի, Ալբանիայի և Չեռնոգորիայի հավաքականների նկատմամբ՝ բոլոր երեք դիմակայություններում հաղթելով 3:0 հաշվով։ Ադրբեջան — Հայաստան՝ 0:3 Ալբանիա — Հայաստան՝ 0:3 Չեռնոգորիա — Հայաստան՝ 0:3 Եզրափակչում Հայաստանի հավաքականը 2:0 հաշվով հաղթեց Էստոնիային և նվաճեց III խմբի ոսկե մեդալները։

Այս արդյունքի շնորհիվ Հայաստանի կանանց թենիսի հավաքականը 2009 թվականից ի վեր առաջին անգամ հաջորդ տարվանից հանդես կգա Բիլլի Ջին Քինգի գավաթի II խմբում։

Այսպիսով, հայկական թենիսի երկու հավաքականներն էլ կարևոր առաջընթաց են արձանագրել միջազգային թիմային հարթակում։ Տղամարդկանց հավաքականը բարձրանում է Դևիսի գավաթի 3-րդ խումբ, իսկ կանանց հավաքականը՝ Բիլլի Ջին Քինգի գավաթի 2-րդ խումբ։

Հայկական թենիսի համար սա կարևոր հաղթանակ է, որը ցույց է տալիս մեր մարզիկների կամքը, պատրաստվածությունն ու միջազգային մրցակցությունում ավելի բարձր մակարդակի հասնելու ներուժը։
