«Բարսելոնայի» նախկին կիսապաշտպան և գլխավոր մարզիչ Չավին կիսվել է Լիոնել Մեսսիի հետ առաջին համատեղ մարզումների հիշողություններով և բարձր է գնահատել արգենտինացու մարզավիճակը ընթացիկ Աշխարհի առաջնությունում (ԱԱ-2026):
Իսպանացու խոսքով՝ Մեսսին խաղի բացառիկ և անկրկնելի ընկալում ունի։
«Երբ երիտասարդական թիմի մարզչից առաջին անգամ լսեցի Մեսսիի մասին, թերահավատորեն մոտեցա դրան։ Բայց 2004 թվականի մեր առաջին իսկ համատեղ մարզման ժամանակ պարզապես չհավատացի աչքերիս։ Կառլես Պույոլը, Վիկտոր Վալդեսը, Դեկուն, Ռոնալդինյոն՝ մենք բոլորս նայում էինք միմյանց՝ հասկանալով, որ սա աննորմալ է։ Լեոն ընդամենը 16 տարեկան էր, բայց միանգամից դարձավ ակումբի թերևս լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստը»,- Չավիի խոսքերն է մեջբերում The Athletic-ը։
Խոսելով արգենտինացու ներկայիս մոտիվացիայի և ԱԱ-2026-ում ցուցադրած խաղի մասին՝ իսպանացին չի խնայել գովեստի խոսքերը․
«Մեսսին ֆուտբոլի Մայքլ Ջորդանն է։ Նա անկրկնելի է և գրեթե մարդ չէ։ Եթե նրա տեղում մեկ ուրիշը լիներ, ապա ԱԱ-2022-ում հաղթելուց հետո հաստատ կավարտեր կարիերան, սակայն Լեոն իսկական մրցունակ գազան է։ Նա համոզված է, որ կարող է կրկին հաղթել այս մրցաշարում»։
Բացի այդ, Չավին բացահայտել է հարձակվողի խաղային ինտելեկտի գլխավոր գաղտնիքներից մեկը։
«Նա անընդհատ նայում է շուրջբոլորը, անընդհատ գնահատում է այն, ինչ կատարվում է իր շուրջ։ Ամեն ինչ նրա գլխում է։ Հաճախ Մեսսին պարզապես քայլում է դաշտում, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ «սկանավորում» է այն։ Առանց չափազանցության կասեմ, որ նա կարող էր խաղալ Ինիեստայի, Բուսկետսի, Պույոլի կամ իմ դիրքում․ նա ամեն ինչ կաներ այնպես լավ, որքան այդ դիրքերից յուրաքանչյուրի լավագույն խաղացողը։
Եվ սա ճշմարտություն է նաև հիմա։ Ալժիրի դեմ խաղից հետո ես գրեցի Լեոյին։ Ասացի, որ նրա խաղն ուղղակի ինչ-որ կատակ է, և որ ես միայն կարող եմ ծիծաղել՝ տեսնելով, թե ինչեր է նա անում դաշտում։ Դա խելագարություն է»,- հայտարարել է լեգենդար կիսապաշտպանը։
