Հայաստանում գրքերի վաճառքի ծավալով Գիրք նվիրելու օրը` փետրվարի 19-ը, զիջում է միայն նախատոնական դեկտեմբերի 30-ին: Այս մասին տեղեկացրեց Գիրք տարածողների ազգային ասոցիացիայի նախագահ Խաչիկ Վարդանյանը` ընդգծելով, որ գիրքը առանձնահատուկ տեղ ունի հայերի արժեհամակարգում: Այն միշտ էլ պաշտամունքի առարկա է եղել: Տոնի այսպիսի «թափ առնելն էլ` հենց դրա վկայություններից մեկն է: «Արդեն մի քանիտարի է, ինչ փետրվարի 19-ը` Հովհաննես Թումանյանի ծննդյան օրը,Հայաստանում նշվում է որպես գիրք նվիրելու օր: Եղավ նախաձեռնություն,որը անմիջապես ստացավ պետական աջակցություն, և ոչ մի ֆինանսականռեսուրս չծախսելով ` դարձավ համազգային տոն: Գիրքը միշտ գտնում է իրտի րոջը: Այն լավագույն նվերներից է և, անկասկած, կգտնի իր տեղըյուրաքանչյուրի տանը»,- ասաց Խաչիկ Վարդանյանը:
«Հայաստան» հրատարակչության տնօրեն Վահագն Սարգսյանի կարծիքով` համացանցը սկզբում մի տեսակ շոկ էր առաջացրել գրահրատարակչական ոլորտում: Թվում էր` թվային գրքերի և առցանց տեղեկատվության միջոցով նսեմանում կամ փոքրանում է գրքի և մամուլի դերը: Սակայն կյանքը ցույց տվեց, որ այդ ճանապարհները տարանջատվում են: Համացանցը զուտ տեղեկատվական բնույթ է կրում, գիրքը` ավելի գեղարվեստական: «Փոխվում է ընթերցողի որակը, և սամենք պետք է ընդունենք, որովհետև դարաշրջան փոխվեց, փոխվեց հասարակական կարգը, հետևաբար փոխվեցին մարդկանցհետաքրքրությունները, և արվեստի նկատմամբ նրանց վերաբերմունքն ու ընկալումները: Մենք, ամեն դեպքում, ունենք շատ լավ ընթերցողներ, ովքերկարդում են թե' ժամանակակից, թե' արտասահմանյան գրականություն»,- նշեց Սարգսյանը
«Հայաստանի գրահրատարակիչների ազգային ասոցիացիա» ՀԿ գործադիր տնօրեն Վահան Խաչատրյան ևս, անդրադառնալով գրքերի թվայնացմանը, ասաց, որ շատ խնդրահարույց է տպագիր և էլեկտրոնային գրքի մրցակցությունը. «Իմ կարծիքով այդ մրցակցությունը ոչ մի արդյունքի չի բերել: Խնդիրն այսօր ոչ թե կրիչնէ, այլ` ընթերցանությունը: Մենք պետք է հասնենք նրան, որ մեր երեխաներն ավելի շատ մտածեն գեղարվետական գրականություն կարդալումասին»:
«Գրքամոլ ակումբի» հիմնադիրներից Հասմիկ Մելիքսեթյանը, լինելով երիտասարդ սերնդի ներկայացուցիչ, հավաստիացրեց, որ այսօր ունենք շատ ընթերցասեր երիտասարդներ: Եվ, որ իրենց ակումբի ստեղծման հիմնական նպատակն էլ դա ցույց տալն է:
