Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին իր թելեգրամյան ալիքում հայտնել է Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Անտոնիու Կոշտայի և Եվրահանձնաժողովի ղեկավար Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենի հետ վարած բանակցությունների մասին, որոնց ընթացքում կողմերը համաձայնեցրել են Ուկրաինայի եվրաինտեգրման հետագա քայլերը և դիրքորոշումների համակարգումը Եվրոպական խորհրդի նիստից առաջ։

Նա նշել է, որ առանցքային հարց է դարձել Եվրոպական Միությանը Ուկրաինայի անդամակցության շուրջ բանակցային գործընթացի առաջմղումը և մնացած հինգ բանակցային կլաստերների բացումը։ Կիևը գործընթացի շուտափույթ զարգացում, ինչպես նաև ԵՄ ֆինանսական աջակցության փաթեթից առաջին տրանշի ստացում է ակնկալում։

«Կարևոր է արդեն մոտ ժամանակներս բացել մնացած հինգ բանակցային կլաստերները։ Ակնկալում ենք շուտով ստանալ նաև առաջին տրանշը ԵՄ ֆինանսական աջակցության փաթեթից՝ մեր պաշտպանությունն ուժեղացնելու համար»,- ասել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահը։

Առանձին քննարկվել են ԵՄ-ի հետ անվտանգության և պաշտպանական համագործակցության հարցերը, ներառյալ անօդաչու տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում համատեղ նախաձեռնությունների զարգացումը Drone Deal ձևաչափով։

Կողմերը ուշադրություն են դարձրել նաև Ուկրաինայի հակաօդային պաշտպանության ամրապնդմանը և ռուսական բալիստիկ սպառնալիքներից պաշտպանությանը։

«Առանձնահատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձվել անվտանգության ոլորտում համագործակցությանը և Եվրոպական Միության հետ Drone Deal ձևաչափով համաձայնագրի շուրջ աշխատանքին։ Խոսել ենք նաև Ուկրաինային ցուցաբերվող պաշտպանական աջակցության մասին, նախ և առաջ՝ ՀՕՊ ամրապնդման և ռուսական բալիստիկ հրթիռներից պաշտպանվելու մասին»,- ընդգծել է Զելենսկին։

Ի վերջո, նա երախտագիտություն է հայտնել եվրոպացի առաջնորդներին աջակցության և Ուկրաինայի ու Եվրոպայի անվտանգության հետագա համատեղ ամրապնդմանը պատրաստակամության համար։
