Օբաման մտադիր է մարտին այցելել Կուբա

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման մտադիր է այս տարվա մարտի 21-22-ին այցելել Կուբա: Ինչպես փոխանցում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` այդ մասին տեղեկացնում է ԱՄՆ նախագահի թվիթերյան էջը:

«Հաջորդ ամիս ես կմեկնեմ Կուբա, որպեսզի զարգացնեմ մեր առաջընթացը և ջանքերը, որոնք կօգնեն լավացնել կուբացի ժողովրդի կյանքը»,- գրել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը` թվիթերյան իր էջում:

Փորձագետներն ընդգծում են, որ այցին նախորդել են դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչների մի շարք շփումները, երկու երկրների մայրաքաղաքներում դեսպանատների բացումը, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ և Կուբայի միջև ավիահաղորդակցության վերակագնումը:   

Ըստ Ամերիկայի ձայնի` ԱՄՆ նախագահի այցը Հավանա կդառնա խորհրդանշական մեծ քայլ երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունների ջերմացման մեջ:

 CNN հեռուստաընկերությունն էլ տեղեկացրել է, որ Կուբա այցից հետո Օբաման կուղևորվի Արգենտինա:

2014 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Օբաման և Կուբայի առաջնորդ Ռաուլ Կաստրոն հայտարարել էին, որ Վաշինգտոնն ու Հավանան մտադիր են վերակագնել պաշտոնական դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունները, որոնք խզվել էին այն բանից հետո, երբ 1959 թվականին իշխանության եկավ Ֆիդել Կաստրոն:

Նախորդ տարեվերջին Օբաման հայտարարել էր, որ ցանկանում է մինչ 2016 թվականի վերջն այցելել Կուբա, սակայն միայն այն դեպքում, երբ Կուբան մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում կիրականացնի համապատասխան բարեփոխումներ և նա հնարավորություն կունենա հանդիպել քաղաքական այլախոհների հետ:

Միաժամանակ, Կուբայի իշխանությունները դեռևս ոչ մի կերպ չեն մեկնաբանում Օբամայի այցի մասին տեղեկատվությունը:
