Լին Բյուքենանը, որը մասնակցել է վիճահարույց և սկեպտիկորեն գնահատվող ամերիկյան «հոգեկան լրտեսության» ծրագրին, պնդում է, թե Երկրի վրա կան մի քանի թաքնված այլմոլորակային բազաներ, հաղորդում է Past.am-՝ հնղում անելով Daily Mail-ին։
Նրա խոսքով՝ այդ վայրերը գտնվում են հեռավոր լեռնային շրջաններում և ծառայում են որպես դիտակետեր, ԱԹՕ-ների վերանորոգման կայաններ, ինչպես նաև այլմոլորակային այցելուների ընդունման կետեր։ Սակայն այս պնդումները որևէ ապացույց չունեն և անկախ աղբյուրներով չեն հաստատվել։
Բյուքենանը նախկինում ներգրավված է եղել STARGATE ծրագրում, որը ԱՄՆ-ը Սառը պատերազմի տարիներին օգտագործել է «հոգեկան լրտեսության» հնարավորությունները ուսումնասիրելու համար՝ հեռազգացության միջոցով հեռակա տեղեկատվություն ստանալու փորձերով։ Ծրագիրը փակվել է 1995 թվականին՝ գիտական հիմնավորման բացակայության և հետախուզական նպատակներով անարդյունավետ լինելու պատճառով։
Նա պնդում է, որ իր առաջին «բազան» գտնվում է Ալյասկայի Հեյս լեռան վրա, որը, ըստ նրա, օգտագործվել է Երկրի վերաբերյալ հետախուզական տվյալներ հավաքելու համար, և որ այնտեղ մարդիկ ու այլմոլորակայինները համագործակցել են։
Երկրորդ ենթադրյալ կետը Ավստրալիայի Զիլ լեռն է, որը նա անվանում է «նավահանգիստ» բարեկամ այլմոլորակայինների համար։ Նրա խոսքով՝ այնտեղ ենթադրաբար ժամանում են նավեր, որից հետո այցելուները տարածվում են աշխարհով մեկ։
Երրորդ «բազան», ըստ Բյուքենանի, գտնվում է Զիմբաբվեի Ինյանգանի լեռան վրա և ծառայում է որպես ԱԹՕ-ների վերանորոգման կենտրոն։ Չորրորդ կետը նա կապում է Պիրենեյների հետ՝ Իսպանիայի և Ֆրանսիայի սահմանային լեռնաշղթայի շրջանում, սակայն խոստովանում է, որ այդ վայրն անձամբ չի ուսումնասիրել։
Բյուքենանը պնդում է, որ տարբեր «հեռակա դիտորդներ» անկախ կերպով նկարագրել են նմանատիպ վայրեր։ Այնուամենայնիվ, ներկայումս այս պատմությունները մնում են չհաստատված և համարվում են դավադրության տեսությունների մաս՝ առանց ստուգելի փաստերի։
