ՀԱՊԿ-ին Հայաստանի անդամակցության սառեցումը, իհարկե, կարող է հանգեցնել կազմակերպությանն անդամակցության լիակատար դադարեցման, ԵՄ-ին անդամակցությունը չի կարող համատեղելի լինել ԵԱՏՄ-ին անդամակցության հետ, և, երբ գա որոշում ընդունելու ժամանակը, մենք այդ որոշումը կընդունենք։ Դրա մասին հունիսի 2-ին Հանրային հեռուստատեսությամբ ընթացող նախընտրական բանավեճի ժամանակ հայտարարել է «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության պատգամավորի թեկնածու, Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը։

«Եթե հանրաքվեի անհրաժեշտություն լինի, մեզ պետք չէ կողքից հուշել, մենք այն կանցկացնենք, երբ դա հնարավոր և հարմար կլինի»,- նշել է նա՝ հավելելով, որ Հայաստանը կարող է և պետք է լինի կամուրջ Արևմուտքի և Արևելքի միջև։

Միրզոյանը պարզաբանել է, որ Հայաստանը խորացնում է հարաբերությունները տարբեր գործընկերների հետ՝ Արևմուտքից մինչև Արևելք։ «Այո, մեր ժողովուրդը քաղաքացիական նախաձեռնությամբ հայտնել է իր ցանկությունը՝ կապված Եվրամիությանն անդամակցելու հետ, և դա արտահայտված է օրենքով»։

«Ինչ վերաբերում է միջանկյալ ժամանակահատվածին, կարճաժամկետ և երկարաժամկետ սպառնալիքների հարցի լուծմանը, ապա մենք չենք խորացնում թշնամանքը մեր անմիջական հարևանների հետ, որպեսզի ապահովենք մեծ եղբոր մշտական ներկայությունը Հայաստանը պաշտպանելու համար, այլ խաղաղություն և գործընկերություն ենք կառուցում մեր չորս հարևանների հետ»,- ընդգծել է նա։

Ըստ նրա՝ հենց դա է հարատև խաղաղության երաշխիքը։
