Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը շնորհավորել է փոփ երգչուհի, դերասանուհի և Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդական արտիստուհի Ռոքսանա Բաբայանին տարեդարձի կապակցությամբ՝ նշելով, որ Բաբայանի ակտիվ քաղաքացիական դիրքորոշումը, հասարակական ծառայությունը և բարեգործական գործունեությունը արժանի են հատուկ հարգանքի։

Այսօր արտիստուհի Ռոքսանա Բաբայանը դարձավ 80 տարեկան։

Շնորհավորում եմ տարեդարձի կապակցությամբ։

Ռուսական փոփ երաժշտության հավատարիմ երկրպագուները անկեղծորեն սիրում և գնահատում են ձեզ ձեր տաղանդի և կենսունակ, բազմակողմանի ստեղծագործականության, արվեստին նվիրվածության և կոչման համար։ Եվ, իհարկե, ձեր ակտիվ քաղաքացիական դիրքորոշումը և լայնածավալ հասարակական ու բարեգործական աշխատանքը, որին դուք նվիրում եք ձեր էներգիան ու ուժը, արժանի են հատուկ հարգանքի։

Մաղթում եմ ձեզ առողջություն և լավ տրամադրություն», - նշել է Վլադիմիր Պուտինը։

Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդական արտիստուհի Ռոքսանա Բաբայանը ծնվել է 1946 թվականին Տաշքենդում։  Ռոքսանան 1970 թվականին ավարտել Տաշքենդի ինստիտուտը և դարձել երկաթգծի ինժեներ։ Սովորելու տարիներին ինստիտուտում ձևավորվել է ջազ նվագախումբ, որի մեներգչուհին եղել է Ռոքսանան։ Ինստիտուտն ավարտելուց հետո եղել է Երևանում՝ երգել Կոնստանտին Օրբելյանի խմբում։ 1974 թվականին համագործակցելու առաջարկ է ստացել Մոսկվայից և ընդգրկվել «Երկնագույն կիթառներ» անսամբլի կազմում։

Ռոքսանա Բաբայանի համար երգեր են գրել Վյաչեսլավ Դոբրինինը, Գեորգի Գարանյանը, Իլյա Ռեզնիկը։ 70-ականների վերջերին Ռոքսանա Բաբայանը տեղ էր զբաղեցնում խորհրդային վեց ամենահեղինակավոր երգիչների շարքերում։ 80-ականների սկզբին «Մելոդյա» ֆիրման թողարկեց երգերի տասնմեկ ձայնասկավառակ։ 1987 թվականին Բաբայանն արժանացել է վաստակավոր, իսկ 1999 թվականին՝ ժողովրդական արտիստի կոչմանը։
