Զոհրաբ Եգանյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հայաստանի ապագայի ցանկացած երազանք հոդս կցնդի, եթե պահպանվի մինչև 35 տարեկան չամուսնացած տղաների ու աղջիկների ներկա թիվը: Մարդիկ կան, որ նույնիսկ խոսում են Արևմտյան Հայաստանը հետ բերելու մասին, կան մարդիկ, որ համակարգչի առաջ արդեն գծում են Տիգրան Մեծի կայսրության վերականգնումը ու այս ամենը ընդամենը դատարակ խոսակցություն է, քանի որ մեր բնակչության թիվը պակասում է:

Կարծում եմ, որ ազգային անվտանգության սպառնալիքների մեջ ամուսնությունների թվի նման մակարդակը առաջին տեղում է, երիտասարդները չեն ամուսնանում ու դրա պատճառը միայն սոցիալականը չէ, բազմիցս ասել եմ՝ հայ աղջիկները իրենց հասակակից տղաներից կրթական մարակարդակով մի քանի անգամ բարձր են, ինչը մի տեսակ խոչընդոտ է ստեղծում մարդկանց շփման համար: Զարմանում եմ, որ նույնիկ ֆինանսական կայուն վիճակում գտնվող ընտանիքներն են բավարարվում երկու երեխայով, զարմանում եմ, որ տղաները, պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ինչու չես ամուսնանում, հաճախ ասում են ուր է լավ աղջիկ:

Ժողովուրդ ամեն ինչ սկսվում է ազգի ծնելիության մակարդակը բարձրացնելուց, եթե շարունակում ենք այս տեմպերով ու պետական մակարդակով չուսումնասիրենք ամուսնության միջին տարիքի բարձրացման պատճառները ու դրանց լուծում չենք տալու, ապա որպես պետություն մենք կվերանանք մահմեդական ցանկացած դեմոգրաֆիկ գրոհի դեպքում: Ասել եմ մեկ անգամ, պետք է փոքր քաղաքներում բնակարանաշինությունը զարգացնել, ինքնարժեքով բնակարան տալ երիտսասրդ ընտանիքներին, երրորդ երեխայի ծնունդը պետք է խրախուսվի ամեն գնով, սա ավելի կարևոր է, քան ցանկացած այլ ծրագիր, մենք ունենք անվտանգության խնդիր, մենք ունենք 80 և 70 մլն անոց մահմեդական հարևաններ: Վաղը ուշ է լինելու:
