Past.am-ը, հղում անելով Rapidan Energy Group (REG)-ի վերլուծաբանների կանխատեսումներին, հայտնում է, որ մոտ ապագայում համաշխարհային տնտեսությունը կարող է բախվել 2008 թվականի ֆինանսական ճգնաժամի մասշտաբներին համադրելի ռեցեսիայի։
Նման սցենարը հնարավոր է, եթե Հորմուզի նեղուցը փակ մնա մինչև այս տարվա օգոստոսը։ Այդ դեպքում համաշխարհային նավթային շուկայում առաջարկի և պահանջարկի միջև անհավասարակշռությունը կխորանա, իսկ նավթի համաշխարհային պաշարները կշարունակեն նվազել։ Փորձագետների խոսքով՝ առաջատար երկրները ստիպված կլինեն ակտիվորեն օգտագործել իրենց ռազմավարական պաշարները՝ նավթի գների կտրուկ աճը զսպելու նպատակով։
Եթե այս սցենարը իրականություն դառնա, ապա նավթի համաշխարհային մատակարարման դեֆիցիտը տարվա երրորդ եռամսյակում կարող է հասնել օրական 6 միլիոն բարելի։ Վերլուծաբանները նշում են, որ ներկայիս տնտեսական իրավիճակը դեռևս այնքան ծայրահեղ չէ, որքան 1970-ականների կամ 2007-2008 թվականների ճգնաժամերի ժամանակ, սակայն Իրանի շուրջ շարունակվող պատերազմական լարվածությունը մեծացնում է համաշխարհային ֆինանսական ցնցումների վտանգը։
Նույնիսկ այն դեպքում, եթե Հորմուզի նեղուցը վերաբացվի արդեն հուլիսին, REG-ը կանխատեսում է, որ առաջիկա ամիսներին նավթի գինը կարող է հասնել շուրջ 130 դոլարի՝ մեկ բարելի դիմաց։
Ավելի վաղ համաշխարհային էներգետիկ շուկայի հնարավոր նոր ճգնաժամի մասին նախազգուշացրել էր նաև «Աբերդին» ակտիվների կառավարման ընկերության գլխավոր տնտեսագետ Փոլ Դիգլը։ Նրա գնահատմամբ՝ ամառային սեզոնին զբոսաշրջային ուղևորությունների պահանջարկի աճը կուժեղացնի ճնշումը Մերձավոր Արևելքից նավթի մատակարարումների վրա, որոնք արդեն խափանված են։ Եթե Իրանում պատերազմը շարունակվի, Դիգլը չի բացառել, որ մինչև տարեվերջ նավթի գինը կարող է բարձրանալ մինչև 180 դոլար՝ մեկ բարելի համար։
