Трамп: под бальным залом Белого дома строят шестиэтажный бункер с госпиталем

Под бальным залом Белого дома строится бункер, который будет уходить на шесть этажей под землю, сообщил президент США Дональд Трамп.
«Вся крыша [бального зала] построена для военных целей. Она обладает огромной вместимостью для беспилотников. Она не только защищена от ударов дронов — если дрон в нее врежется, он отскочит, не причинив никакого вреда. Но она также предназначена в качестве порта для дронов, который будет защищать весь Вашингтон», — приводит слова Трампа Reuters.
По его словам, здание бального зала, расположенное сверху, будет выполнять защитную функцию для подземной части. Конструктивно они представляют собой единое целое. На плоской крыше предусмотрено место для позиций снайперов, с которых будет виден весь Вашингтон.
Трамп добавил, что стекла здания будут пуленепробиваемыми толщиной около 10 сантиметров. В бункере также разместят бомбоубежища, военный госпиталь и специальные помещения для военных. Строительство ведется за счет частных пожертвований и идет по графику. Президент назвал проект своим подарком Соединенным Штатам.
