ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմը հանրային քննարկման է ներկայացրել օրինագիծ, որով առաջարկվում է հունիսի 23-ը սահմանել որպես հանրային ծառայողի օր։ Նախագիծը հրապարակվել է e-draft.am հարթակում։
Ինչպես հայտնում է Past.am-ը, նախագծի հիմնավորման մեջ նշվում է, որ ներկայումս Հայաստանում տարբեր պետական համակարգերի ներկայացուցիչների համար արդեն սահմանված են առանձին մասնագիտական օրեր։ Դրանց թվում են ազգային անվտանգության մարմինների աշխատողի օրը, փրկարարի օրը, դատախազության աշխատողի օրը, ոստիկանության օրը, քրեակատարողական ծառայողի օրը և այլ հիշատակի ու մասնագիտական օրեր։
Նախագծի հեղինակների կարծիքով՝ նման բազմազանությունը չի համապատասխանում հանրային ծառայության զարգացման ժամանակակից մոտեցումներին, ուստի անհրաժեշտ է ունենալ հանրային ծառայողների մեկ միասնական օր։
Ըստ հիմնավորման՝ նախաձեռնության նպատակն է արժևորել և խրախուսել հանրային ծառայողների աշխատանքը, ընդգծել նրանց դերը երկրի կայուն զարգացման, արդյունավետ կառավարման և պետական քաղաքականության իրականացման գործում։
Նշվում է նաև, որ 2002 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 20-ին ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան հատուկ բանաձևով հունիսի 23-ը հռչակել է որպես Հանրային ծառայության օր՝ կոչ անելով անդամ պետություններին այդ օրը կազմակերպել միջոցառումներ՝ ընդգծելու հանրային ծառայության կարևորությունը։
