ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Axios-ի հետ հեռախոսազրույցում ասել է, որ Իրանի համար «ժամանակը սուղ է», և նախազգուշացրել է, որ եթե Իրանը գործարքի վերաբերյալ ավելի շահավետ առաջարկով հանդես չգա, «նրանք շատ ավելի ուժեղ կտուժեն»։

ԱՄՆ պաշտոնյաները հայտարարում են, որ Թրամփը ցանկանում է կնքել գործարք, որը կվերջացնի պատերազմը, սակայն Իրանի հրաժարումը կատարել նրա բազմաթիվ պահանջները և իր միջուկային ծրագրի հարցում գնալ էական զիջումների, կրկին օրակարգ է բերում ռազմական տարբերակի հարցը։

Սպասվում է, որ երեքշաբթի Թրամփը Սպիտակ տան Իրավիճակային կենտրոնում կհավաքի ազգային անվտանգության իր բարձրագույն թիմին՝ ռազմական տարբերակները քննարկելու համար, հայտնել են ամերիկացի երկու պաշտոնյաներ։

Կիրակի Թրամփը Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուի հետ քննարկել է Իրանի շուրջ իրավիճակը։

Շաբաթ օրը Թրամփը Վիրջինիայում գտնվող իր գոլֆ-ակումբում հանդիպել է ազգային անվտանգության իր թիմի անդամների հետ՝ Իրանի հարցը քննարկելու համար, հայտնել է իրազեկ աղբյուրը։ Ներկաների թվում էին փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսը, Սպիտակ տան ներկայացուցիչ Սթիվ Ուիտքոֆը, պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոն և ԿՀՎ տնօրեն Ջոն Ռեթքլիֆը։

Պակիստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարը շաբաթ և կիրակի այցելել է Թեհրան՝ իրանցի բարձրաստիճան ղեկավարների հետ պատերազմի դադարեցման համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցություններ վարելու համար։

Պակիստանը ԱՄՆ-ի և Իրանի միջև պաշտոնական միջնորդ է։ Կատարի վարչապետ Մուհամմեդ բեն Աբդուլռահման Ալ Թանին, որը նույնպես միջնորդի դեր է կատարում, կիրակի բանակցություններ է վարել իր պակիստանցի գործընկերոջ և Իրանի արտգործնախարարի հետ։ Թրամփը Axios-ին ասել է, որ շարունակում է կարծել, թե Իրանը ցանկանում է գործարք կնքել, և նշել է, որ սպասում է իրանական թարմացված առաջարկին, որը, հուսով է, ավելի լավը կլինի, քան մի քանի օր առաջ արված վերջին առաջարկը։ Թրամփը հրաժարվել է նշել Իրանի հետ բանակցությունների կոնկրետ ժամկետ։

«Մենք ուզում ենք գործարք կնքել։ Նրանք այնտեղ չեն, որտեղ մենք ուզում ենք, որ լինեն։ Նրանք ստիպված կլինեն հասնել դրան, հակառակ դեպքում շատ ծանր կտուժեն, իսկ նրանք դա չեն ուզում»,- ասել է Թրամփը։

Նա ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն «նախկինից շատ ավելի ուժգին» կհարվածի Իրանին, եթե նրանք ավելի լավ առաջարկով հանդես չգան։

«Ժամացույցը տկտկում է։ Ավելի լավ է՝ շտապեն, այլապես նրանց ոչինչ չի մնա»,- ընդգծել է Թրամփը։
