Հորմուզի նեղուցը ոչ միայն նավթի տեղափոխման առանցքային երթուղի է, այլև համաշխարհային ինտերնետային ենթակառուցվածքի կարևոր հանգույց։ Այս տարածաշրջանով անցնում են տասնյակ ստորջրյա օպտիկամանրաթելային մալուխներ, որոնք կապում են Ասիան, Եվրոպան և Արևմտյան Ասիան, գրել է իրանական Fars գործակալությունը։

Դրանք ապահովում են տվյալների փոխանցումը, ամպային ծառայությունների, բանկային գործարքների և միջազգային հաղորդակցությունների աշխատանքը։ Այս գծերից որևէ մեկի վնասումը կարող է առաջացնել ինտերնետի և թվային տնտեսության մասշտաբային խափանումներ։

Վերջին օրերին այս թեման ակտիվորեն քննարկվում է միջազգային լրատվամիջոցներում և վերլուծական կենտրոններում։

Հնդկական պարբերականներն ընդգծել են, որ երկրի ինտերնետային թրաֆիկի զգալի մասն անցնում է Պարսից ծոցի և Հորմուզի նեղուցի շրջանում գտնվող երթուղիներով։

Այդ մալուխները փոխանցում են Եվրոպայի, Պարսից ծոցի երկրների և Ասիայի միջև համաշխարհային ինտերնետային ու ֆինանսական թրաֆիկի մոտ 15–20 տոկոսը։

Իրանը կարող է պահանջ մտցնել, ըստ որի՝ մալուխային ենթակառուցվածքը կառավարող օտարերկրյա ընկերությունները պարտավոր կլինեն թույլտվություններ ստանալ, վճարել տուրքեր և պահպանել Իրանի օրենսդրությունը, ընդգծել է Fars-ը։

Նրանց գնահատմամբ՝ մալուխների հնարավոր վնասումը կարող է խաթարել առցանց ծառայությունների, թվային բանկինգի և հեռահաղորդակցության աշխատանքը։ Նշվել է, որ AAE-1 և Falcon-ի նման մայրուղային գծերն առանցքային դեր են խաղում Հնդկաստանը Եվրոպայի և Արևմտյան Ասիայի հետ կապելու գործում, և դրանց խափանումը կազդի ոչ միայն տարածաշրջանի, այլև համաշխարհային թվային գործընթացների վրա։

Ռուսական և ասիական լրատվամիջոցներն ուշադրություն են հրավիրել թվային ենթակառուցվածքի աշխարհաքաղաքական խոցելիության վրա։ Մասնավորապես, ընդգծվել է, որ մի քանի խոշոր ինտերնետային մալուխներ անցնում են Հորմուզի նեղուցով, և դրանց վնասումը կարող է կաթվածահար անել բանկային գործարքները, ամպային ծառայությունները և մայրցամաքների միջև կապը։ Որոշ վերլուծաբաններ սա դիտարկում են որպես ռազմավարական խոցելիության նոր տեսակ, երբ տվյալների ենթակառուցվածքը դառնում է ճնշման գործիք միջազգային հակամարտություններում։

Արևմտյան վերլուծական կենտրոններն ու լրատվամիջոցները նույնպես նախազգուշացրել են համաշխարհային ինտերնետային համակարգի փխրունության մասին։ Ընդգծվել է, որ համաշխարհային ինտերնետային թրաֆիկի շուրջ 99 տոկոսն անցնում է ստորջրյա մալուխներով, և դրանց նորոգումը չափազանց բարդ ու թանկ է։ Հորմուզի շրջանում ցանկացած միջադեպ կարող է ազդել ամպային ծառայությունների, թվային տնտեսության և միջազգային կապի վրա։
