Ֆիլիպինների նախկին առաջին տիկնոջ՝ Իմելդա Մարկոսի՝ 21 մլն դոլար ընդհանուր գումարի թանկարժեք իրերը դրվելու են միջազգային աճուրդի: Այդ մասին, փետրվարի 17-ին հաղորդել Է CNN հեռուստաընկերությունը, նշելով, որ աճուրդի անցկացման որոշումը հավանության Է արժանացել Ֆիլիպինների կա ռավարության կողմից:
Թանկարժեք իրերի հավաքածուում առավել մեծ ուշադրություն Է գրավում 25-կարատանոց հազվագյուտ վարդագույն ադամանդը: Խաղողի հատիկի չափով թանկարժեք քարը փորձագետները գնահատում են 5 մլն դոլար:
Աճուրդի Է դրվելու նաեւ ադամանդներով զարդարված պսակաթագը, որը պատրաստվել Է աշխարհում հայտնի Cartier ֆիրմայի ոսկերիչների կողմից: Սկզբնապես այն գնահատվում Էր 50 հազար դոլար, սակայն անցյալ տարվա նոյեմբերին նոր գնահատում Է անցկացվել եւ, CNN-ի տվյալներով, այդ զարդի գինն ավելացել Է 10 անգամ:
Հավաքածուն, որը դրվելու Է աճուրդի, միայն մեկն Է թանկարժեք իրերի երեք հավաքածուներից, որոնք ներառում են Իմելդա Մարկոսին պատկանող բոլոր 300 առարկաները: Նա այն վերցրել Էր իր հետ, երբ 1986 թվականին ամուսնու՝ Ֆիլիպինների տապալված նախագահ Ֆերդինանդ Մարկոսի հետ միասին փախել Էր Հավայի:
Այնտեղ այդ հավաքածուն առգրավվել Էր ԱՄՆ-ի մաքսային սահմանապահ ծառայության կողմից: Մարկոսի թանկարժեք իրերի մյուս երկու հավաքածուների հարցը, ըստ CNN-ի տվյալների, այժմ քննում Է դատարանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
