Անտառային հրդեհները Ջորջիայում ոչնչացրել են ավելի քան 120 տուն եւ շարունակում են սպառնալ բնակիչներին

Շաբաթ օրը Ջորջիայի հարավ-արեւելքում բռնկված երկու անտառային հրդեհները շարունակել են սպառնալ տներին եւ մարդկանց, պաշտոնյաները զգուշացնում են, որ ուժեղ քամիները կարող են տարածել կրակը, հաղորդել է Associated Press-ը։
Բրենթլի օկրուգի կառավարիչ Ջոուի Քեյսոնը իրավիճակն անվանել է դինամիկ եւ խնդրել բնակիչներին տարհանվել, եթե նրանց հրամայվի անել դա։
Հրդեհը 82-րդ մայրուղում բռնկվել է երկուշաբթի օրվանից եւ ոչնչացրել է առնվազն 87 տուն։ Ուրբաթ օրը Ջորջիայի նահանգապետ Բրայան Քեմփը հրդեհն անվանել է նահանգի պատմության մեջ ամենամեծ անտառային հրդեհը։
Հրդեհը բռնկվել է, երբ փայլաթիթեղյա փուչիկը հարվածել է էլեկտրահաղորդման գծերին։ Սա առաջացրել է էլեկտրական աղեղ, որը բռնկել է գետնին գտնվող դյուրավառ նյութերը։
Ուրբաթ գիշեր իրականացվել է ինֆրակարմիր մոնիթորինգ, որը հայտնաբերում է ջերմությունը, այն օգնել է պաշտոնյաներին ավելի լավ քարտեզագրել հրդեհը։ Շաբաթ օրվա մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ նշվել է, որ հրդեհի պարագիծը ավելի քան 14.8 քառակուսի մղոն է եւ միայն 10 տոկոսն է վերահսկվում։ Միեւնույն ժամանակ, երկրորդ հրդեհը, որը բռնկվել է մոտ 70 մղոն հարավ-արեւմուտք՝ Քլինչ եւ Էքհոլս օկրուգներում, Ֆլորիդայի սահմանի մոտ, այրել է ավելի քան 46.9 քառակուսի մղոն եւ ոչնչացրել առնվազն 35 տուն։
Այս անտառային հրդեհը, որը բռնկվել էր եռակցման կայծերից, շաբաթ օրվա կեսօրից հետո նույնպես մոտ 10 տոկոսով վերահսկելի է։
Ջորջիայում եւ Ֆլորիդայում հրշեջները պայքարում են ավելի քան 150 այլ անտառային հրդեհների դեմ, որոնք ծխի խիտ շերտ են տարածել սկզբնական հրդեհից հեռու գտնվող վայրերում, ինչի հետեւանքով որոշ քաղաքներում հայտարարվել են օդի որակի վերաբերյալ նախազգուշացումներ։
