Հայաստանում և Սփյուռքում հայ ժողովուրդը սպասում է ԱՄՆ նախագահի ուղերձին Հայոց ցեղասպանության կապակցությամբ։ Այս տարի ևս նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը իր ամենամյա ուղերձում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը անվանել է Մեծ եղեռն։ «Այսօր մենք հարգանքի տուրք ենք մատուցում այն անթիվ հայերի հիշատակին, ովքեր աքսորվեցին և դաժանաբար սպանվեցին Մեծ Եղեռնի ժամանակ: Մարդկության պատմության այս դաժան գլուխը հավերժ կմնա որպես հայ ժողովրդի անկոտրում ոգու և քրիստոնեության հիմքում ընկած հույսի վկայություն: Մեր հարգանքն ենք տածում այն խորը ուժի ու վճռականության հանդեպ, որը ցուցաբերեցին հայերը՝ հաղթահարելով անցյալի ահռելի ողբերգությունները և կերտելով ավելի լավ ապագա, որը սահմանված է տևական բարգավաճմամբ, անվտանգությամբ և խաղաղությամբ: Մենք կանգնած ենք նրանց կողքին», - նշված է Թրամփի ուղերձում:

Թրամփը որևէ կերպ չի դատապարտել Թուրքիային, փոխարենը խոսել էՀայաստանի հետ հարաբերություններից, իր ստեղծած խաղաղության խորհրդից, նշել, թե կշարունակեն աշխատանքը՝ ուղղված առավել անվտանգ և բարգավաճ աշխարհի կառուցմանը։ Միացյալ Նահանգները թե նախագահի, թե Կոնգրեսի զույգ պալատների մակարդակով պաշտոնապես ճանաչել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը։ 46-րդ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը 2021 թ․ից սկսած իր ապրիլ 24-յան ուղերձներում գործածում էր հենց «Հայոց ցեղասպանության» տերմինը։ Թրամփը, գալով իշխանության, արդեն 2-րդ տարին է՝ կրկին չի օգտագործում այդ բառը, և սա ամբողջությամբ հ բնութագրում է ԱՄՆ իրական քաղաքականությունը։

Մի ուղերձ էլ երեկ Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինն է տարածել՝ շեշտելով Հայոց ցեղասպանություն արտահայտությունը։ «Այսօր մենք գլուխ ենք խոնարհում հայ ժողովրդի ցեղասպանության հարյուր հազարավոր զոհերի հիշատակի առջև՝ XX դարի ամենասարսափելի ողբերգություններից մեկի։ Անպաշտպան, անմեղ մարդկանց նկատմամբ դաժան հաշվեհարդարը, ովքեր սպանվեցին, վիրավորվեցին, արտաքսվեցին հայրենի քաղաքներից ու ավաններից, ցնցեց ողջ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը, իսկ դրա աղետալի հետևանքները համոզիչ կերպով ցույց տվեցին, թե ինչի են հանգեցնում կրոնական թշնամանքի բորբոքումը, ազգայնականությունը և այլատյացությունը»,- նշել է նա։

ՌԴ նախագահը, հստակ դատապարտելով Ցեղասպանությունը, հայտնել է, որ Ռուսաստանի դիրքորոշումը այս հարցում միշտ եղել է անփոփոխ։

ԱՄՆ և Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարների ուղերձները բնութագրում են հենց իրենց քաղաքականությունը Հայաստանի նկատմամբ, ու մինչ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները ձգտում են հեռանալ Ռուսաստանից՝ ուղղություն վերցնելով դեպի Արևմուտք, նույն այդ Արևմուտքը ամենևին էլ շահագրգռված չէ հարգելու հայ ժողովրդի ողբերգությունը։
