ԱՄՆ-ում 62-ամյա ճարտարապետ Ռեքս Հոյերմանը, որը հայտնի է որպես «Գիլգո լողափի մարդասպան», մեղավոր է ճանաչվել ութ երիտասարդ կանանց սպանության մեջ, հաղորդում է Daily Mail-ը ։

Դատարանում Հոյերմանը մեղավոր ճանաչվեց յուրաքանչյուր դրվագով՝ բոլոր ութ դեպքերում էլ որպես մահապատժի մեթոդ նշելով խեղդամահ անելը։ Հանցագործը իր զոհերին, որոնք աշխատում էին որպես մարմնավաճառներ, զանգահարել է հեռախոսներով և խոստացել գումար։ Երբ նրանք հասել են նշված հասցե, սերիական մարդասպանը հարձակվել է նրանց վրա և խեղդամահ արել։

Ոմանց մարմինները մասնատվել էին, կապկպվել գոտիներով ցրվել Գիլգո լողափով մեկ։ Հոյերմանը նաև պատասխանատվություն էր ստանձնել 34-ամյա Կարեն Վերգատայի համար, որի սպանության համար նրան պաշտոնապես մեղադրանք չէր առաջադրվել։

Հետաքննությունը պարզել է, որ սերիական մարդասպանը հանցագործությունները կատարել է այն ժամանակ, երբ նրա ընտանիքը արձակուրդում էր։ Նա կանանց գերի է պահել իր սեփական տան նկուղում, որտեղ ինքը մեծացել է, և որտեղ հետագայում մեծացել են նաև նրա երեխաները։ Տան խուզարկության ժամանակ իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցները առգրավել են օրագիր, որտեղ մանրամասն տեղեկություններ են եղել զոհերի դիակների հետ վարվելու մասին՝ մաքրման, անդամահատման և դաջվածքների հեռացման հրահանգներ։

Հունիսի 17-ին դատավորը Հոյերմանին կդատապարտի ցմահ ազատազրկման։
