ԱՄՆ Լուիզիանա նահանգի Շրիվպորտ քաղաքում կիրակի առավոտյան տեղի ունեցած զանգվածային հրաձգության հետևանքով ութ երեխա է զոհվել, հայտնում է NBC News-ը:
Շրիվպորտի ոստիկանական վարչության աշխատակիցներն առավոտյան ժամը 6-ից անմիջապես հետո ժամանել են Արևմտյան 79-րդ փողոցի 300-րդ թաղամաս՝ կենցաղային միջադեպի մասին հաղորդումներից հետո։
Ոստիկանության ներկայացուցիչ Քրիստոֆեր Բորդելոնը հանցագործության վայրը բնութագրել է «ընդարձակ»՝ նշելով, որ այն ընդգրկում է երեք տուն երկու թաղամասում։
Ըստ Բորդելոնի, կրակոցների հետևանքով տասը մարդ է վիրավորվել, որոնցից ութը զոհվել են. նրանք 1-ից 14 տարեկան էին։
«Միջադեպի պատասխանատուն, հեռանալով դեպքի վայրից, ավտոմեքենա է առևանգել հենց այստեղ՝ Արևմտյան 79-րդ և Լինվուդ փողոցների խաչմերուկի հարևանությամբ։ Այդ պահին Շրիվպորտի պարեկային ոստիկանները հասել են մեքենայի հետևից և հետապնդում սկսել»,- պատմել է Բորդելոնը:
Ըստ նրա, ոստիկանները Բոսյե շրջանում հետապնդման ժամանակ գնդակահարել են կասկածյալին։
Ոստիկանությունը կասկածյալի մասին տեղեկություններ չի հայտնել, սակայն Բորդելոնն ասել է, որ երեխաներից մի քանիսը «նրա ժառանգներն էին»։ Հրաձգության դրդապատճառն այս պահին պարզ չէ։ Շրիվպորտի քաղաքապետ Թոմ Արսենոն, որը նույնպես ելույթ է ունեցել ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ, նշել է, որ համայնքը սգի մեջ է։
