Իրանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև բանակցությունները, Պակիստանի միջնորդությամբ, մտել են մասնագիտացված փորձագիտական փուլ։ Իրանական պատվիրակության տեխնիկական հանձնաժողովների հիմնական անդամներն արդեն ուղղակիորեն ներգրավվել են աշխատանքներում՝ Իսլամաբադի «Սերենա» հյուրանոցում ընթացող վճռորոշ քննարկումները առաջ մղելու նպատակով։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Tasnim-ը։
Իսլամաբադ գործուղված Tasnim թղթակցի փոխանցմամբ՝ այն ժամանակ, երբ քննարկումները թևակոխել են փորձագիտական փուլ, իրանական պատվիրակության մասնագիտացված հանձնաժողովների մի շարք անդամներ ուղևորվել են բանակցությունների վայր։
Իրանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև բանակցություններն արդեն մի քանի րոպե է՝ ընթանում են Պակիստանի Իսլամաբադ քաղաքի «Սերենա» հյուրանոցում։
Tasnim-ի թղթակիցը նաև հայտնել է, որ ի հեճուկս երեկ հնչած որոշ ենթադրությունների՝ CENTCOM-ի հրամանատար, ծովակալ Բրեդ Քուփերը ամերիկյան բանակցային պատվիրակության կազմում չէ։
ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսը Իսլամաբադում է նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի փեսայի ու հատուկ խորհրդական Ջարեդ Քուշների և հատուկ բանագնաց Սթիվ Ուիթքոֆի հետ միասին՝ Իրանի հետ բանակցությունների համար։
