34-ամյա տղամարդը ատամնաբույժի մոտ գնալուց հետո կորցրել է ձեռքերն ու ոտքերը

Տեխասի 34-ամյա բնակիչ Դևոն Վանտերպուլը կորցրել է ոտքերն ու ձեռքերը սեպսիսի պատճառով, որը նա ձեռք է բերել ատամնաբույժի մոտ այցելելուց հետո, հաղորդում է People-ը ։
Դեկտեմբերի 29-ին Վանտերպուլը ստուգման եկավ բորբոքված լնդերով։ Երբ ատամնաբույժը կպավ լնդերին, դրանք սկսեցին արյունահոսել։ Պարզվում է, որ այդ ժամանակ է, որ պաթոգեն մանրէները ներխուժել են նրա արյան մեջ։ 45 րոպեի ընթացքում նրա վիճակը նկատելիորեն վատացել էր, և նա ուժեղ դողում էր։
Վանտերպուլին տեղափոխեցին հիվանդանոց, սակայն նրա վիճակը վատացավ։ Նրա մոտ զարգացավ սեպսիս, ապա սրտի կանգ, որից հետո բժիշկները նրան միացրին կյանքի պահպանման սարքին։ Այնուհետև նրա մոտ զարգացավ ֆուլմինանս մանուշակագույն տենդ՝ փոքր անոթների թրոմբոզ, որը հանգեցնում է հյուսվածքների մահվան։
Բժիշկները փորձեցին հեռացնել մեռած հյուսվածքը, սակայն դա միայն առաջացրեց հետագա սեպտիկ շոկ։ Տղամարդու կյանքը փրկելու համար անհրաժեշտ եղան արմատական միջոցներ. անդամահատվեցին նրա ամբողջ աջ ոտքն ու աջ ձեռքը, ձախ ոտքը ծնկից ներքև և ձախ նախաբազուկը։
