Ադրբեջանցիները օկուպացված Արցախի Հանրապետության Մարտունու շրջանի Խնուշինակ գյուղում ոչնչացրել են Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի և արցախյան պատերազմների զոհերին նվիրված հուշահամալիրը։
Արցախի մշակութային ժառանգության օմբուդսմեն, «Ազգային» պատմամշակութային ՀԿ փոխնախագահ Հովիկ Ավանեսովը, Արցախի մշակութային ժառանգության օմբուդսմենի գրասենյակի աշխատակազմի աշխատակից Արտակ Մկրտչյանը համատեղ հայտարարություն են տարածել.
«Մշակութային և պատմական ժառանգության ոչնչացումը երբեք չի եղել պատահական կամ ինքնաբուխ երևույթ։ Այն նպատակային, համակարգված և պետականորեն խրախուսվող քաղաքականության գործիք է, որի հիմնական նպատակը ոչ միայն նյութական արժեքների վերացումն է, այլ՝ ժողովրդի պատմական հիշողության, ինքնության և գոյության հիմքերի քանդումը։ Նման քաղաքականությունը միտված է վերաձևակերպելու անցյալը՝ ջնջելով այն բոլոր վկայությունները, որոնք հակասում են իշխող նարատիվներին։
Արցախի Մարտունու շրջանի Խնուշինակ գյուղում Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի և արցախյան պատերազմների զոհերին նվիրված հուշահամալիրի ոչնչացումը պետք է դիտարկել հենց այս համատեքստում։ Սա ոչ թե մեկուսացված վանդալիզմի ակտ է, այլ հետևողական ռազմավարության բաղկացուցիչ մաս, որի նպատակը տարածքի պատմական հիշողության լիակատար ապամոնտաժումն է։ Հուշարձանների ոչնչացումը այստեղ հանդես է գալիս որպես «լռեցված պատմության» կառուցման մեխանիզմ, որտեղ անցյալի վկաները ֆիզիկապես վերացվում են, որպեսզի հնարավոր դառնա նոր՝ կեղծված պատմության պարտադրումը։
Խնուշինակի հուշահամալիրը պարզապես քարե կառույց չէր։ Այն խորհրդանշական տարածք էր, որտեղ նյութականացված էր հիշողությունը՝ մարդկանց մասին, ովքեր ապրել, պայքարել և զոհվել են իրենց հայրենիքի համար։ Այդ հուշարձանը փաստագրում էր հայկական ներկայությունը, պատմական շարունակականությունը և զոհաբերության գաղափարը։ Հետևաբար դրա ոչնչացումը ուղղված է ոչ միայն անցյալի, այլ նաև ապագայի դեմ՝ զրկելով սերունդներին իրենց ինքնության հենասյուներից։
Առավել մտահոգիչ է այն հանգամանքը, որ նման գործողությունները հաճախ ուղեկցվում են միջազգային կառույցների լռությամբ։ Այդ լռությունը, ըստ էության, վերածվում է անուղղակի համակրանքի կամ առնվազն անտարբերության, որը խրախուսում է նման քաղաքականության շարունակականությունը։ Երբ մշակութային ժառանգության ոչնչացումը չի ստանում համարժեք քաղաքական, իրավական և բարոյական արձագանք, այն դառնում է համատարած գործելակերպ։
Խնուշինակը այսօր այլևս պարզապես բնակավայր չէ։ Այն վերածվել է խորհրդանշական տարածքի, որտեղ ակնառու կերպով արտահայտվում է մշակութային ցեղասպանության մեխանիզմը։ Այստեղ ոչնչացվում է ոչ միայն նյութական մշակույթը, այլ նաև հիշողությունը որպես ինքնության կրող։ Եվ եթե այս գործընթացը շարունակվում է անպատիժ, ապա դրա ամենամեծ դաշնակիցը ոչ թե միայն գործող կողմն է, այլ նաև այն լռությունը, որը թույլ է տալիս իրականացնել պատմության համակարգված վերաշարադրումը»։
